Nexus Radio is an ongoing expanding project that aims at entertaining the audience whilst promoting Unsinged Artists, as well as playing some great signed tracks.
We dont play the typical comercial bullshit you find on the normal airwaves, and you wont hear the most popular tunes played out twice every hour either. You'll laugh, you'll cry n if ur lucky you wont die.
We are free with our language, and are open minded people, there are no real restrictions on what we say or do.

Wizard Sleeve puts on a show that combines DnB, Trance, Breaks, Metal, Comedy, Oldschool Rap, and the Top 10 Cuntdown[COLOR=orangered]*[/COLOR] from all genres (from the weekly charts on mixposure). He often has a Co DJ and spends the night getting wasted and doing drunken freestyles and playing games keeping the audience envolved in the show.

Well sasha, not everyone wants to have that boring 9-5 office job or whatever which you need a degree in, and the big house and all the material possesions... some people.. like me, are not interested in that.
I am 21.. I did my GCSE's got good grades, am rather intelligent (have tests to prove it) but I don't want a boring 9-5 job. I much prefer working in places like pubs and shops because there is alot of interaction with differant people and the staff are alot more interesting than these boring suits.
I enjoy smoking weed, yeah I used to smoke way too much but now I just have a couple of spliffs a night after work.
other than that I make music, and am Currantly making music for a game set to be released in about a year and a half. So those years I spent spending all my money on cannibis and computers actually is starting to pay off. I dont think you have any right to slag off teenagers...
Teenages are young... Life IS SHIT - we are the only species that have to work every day to survive, and when your young you just want to enjoy yourself, because your going to end up working for the rest of their lives.
It's there choice, no reason for you to get your nickers in a twist about. If it wasn't for people with less ambition you wouldn't have all the people who work in all the shops and sell you your food and things... everyone would just be in some high payed job, making the demand less and the pay less.. and eventually they would have to pay you more to work in a supermarket than be a graphic designer. So from that perspective its a good thing.
And I know many people that smoke pot take other drugs and do well at uni.. one of my friends finished last year with a one one even with the drugs. And he was doing computer science and advanced programing.

too true. I have a friend who makes IDM almost as good as Aphex Twin and the like using FL - and I find FL gives you more room to be free than other programs.. but I also use Cubase SX 2 when i need a break from FL... I really need to get around to buying FL 5 tho, I really want my tracks to be in 24bit sound.

It would take some pretty advanced filtering algorithms to determine the quality of a review. It's not impossible in practicality, but for the most part exclusively used in polymorphous robotics.

No, because then TomFulp would be in the top 50, which would be worse. Rating, in general, is a good concept because it is meant to separate the diamonds from the pebbles... it's just so easily abused by the anonymity and impersonality of the AP (and this site, and the internet).
its meant to.. but on a site full of kids who all thinks its cool to be no 1 and can freely vote 0 on anything thats ahead of them in the charts without even listening to its musical merrits is just a rather big floor in the system.

All music is real music... I know we have sports like darts. snooker, n golf which are more GAMES than SPORTS as they are missing the fine elements which MOST of us consider sport, but rap is still music.
Alot of it is crap.. with the Gangsta this, and fuck you that, but artists like Roots Manuva, and J5 keep it real.
Personally I really like Oldschool rap.. u know from the 80's and early 90's.. it had a decent bopping funky beat and the lyrics were delivered in a much more friendly way, but some people out there think its cool when people say fuck shit bitches and say they smoke weed every fucking song. Its sad, but they are just playing to the crowed.

well if it was cold... and it was a choice between one cold foot or 2 cold feet...or there was broken glass on the floor and i could put one shoe on and hop over it, or walk over with bear feet I know what i do...

Lets Improve the audio portal
well basically for the AP i think there should be no voting system...scores should be dictated by reviews, so the people who vote 0 have to state why... its too easy for some one to be a jerk and just vote 0 on everything you have without even listening, if they HAD to review to have any effect on your score, there wouldn't be this capper trouble.
Short one liner views can result in a one day ban+ as reviews should be at least somewhat descriptive, where as ITS FOOKIN SHIT just sucks, maybe there should be a minimum word count for reviews? In fact it would be great if the charts were done on listens per day instead of score, as anyone with a load of nerd friends can get a score up high.
Also people should only review music genres they know about and like and not mark music down because its a genre they dont like.
The review should show up in your reviews in your profile... people are very stat whorish, and if reviewing in the AP benifited them in some way they would be more willing to review, and also you would be able to check back for a reply a lot more easily
You also need a music mod who really really knows all about every genre and can correctly place things in the right Genres. Its so annoying looking for DnB and heareing a 4x4 kick drum etc etc.
On the subject of genres you are missing so so many. Too many for me to bother listing again because I am sure they wouldn't be added.
4000kb file limit? Thats a joke, its like yeah lets write a whole tune... and then realise that i can't upload it to NG unless I cut half of it out or considerabley reduce the quality.
If you just wanted beats an loops the file size would be alot smaller, 500kb or so, so I am assuming they wanted people to upload songs... just very short incomplete ones.
A loop is rather short, there is no reason to write a 4000kb, roughly 3 min, loop. A loop is usually very short, under 10 seconds, and loops perfectly back into itself.
Most things that get uploaded are not loops, and yet not complete tunes... If you want people to upload loops for flash, make the file size a max of 500kb, if you want people to upload actual tunes then you should make it 8-10 megabytes so people can actually upload decent pieces of work should they make them.
Tho Most decent musicions will have gone off to www.mixposure.com or something like that anyway, but the newgrounds flash portal is amazing, and with some work the audio portal could be just as good if not better.

Why do you constantly stop songs half way through and chat? Mix a few tunes in then say what they were and the next coming up instead of constantly talking and playing the same shit bands over.

in regards to your comment about 64bit being useless.. well its better because it handles all 32bit programs with alot more ease than a 32bit processor, and I imagin the 128bit one does even better.

Yeah Feb 2004 i got the athlon 64 3400+ - it only runs at 2.2hgz but runs faster than the P4 3.4 GHZ with Ht tech.

They also have 128bit, the athlon FX..
AMD owns pentium any day.. pentiums come completly overclocked already, and after about 30 mins there performance drops drasitcally incomparison to the more stable AMD chip.
Pentium is like industry standard. the PC World of the computer world. Not the greatest analogy but you get what I mean.. no one who knows stuff about computers would buy one from PC world, just as no one who knew stuff about processors would get a Pentium.

Proof of this was when i did an essay back when i was in school for my philosphy teacher...
I hadn't been to the classes so was having trouble with the essay.
A friend of mine had done the exact same essay the year before.. she had hand written it... but we were supposed to type it and it was supposed to be 2 pages long... as hers was.
I copied the essay, plus added about half a page more stuff to it from notes i had managed to get.
On the computer it was only a page and a half... as aposed to her shorter 2 page hand written essay...
She got a B+
I got a C- even though my essay was actually longer and had more valid points.
