I need to work on the spacing more, and perhaps more anticipation of the action.

yeah that would be good, maybe like 10 more frames inbetween? what frame rate is that?

And im thinking of buying flash CS4 professional...what dou you think?

If you are new, use 12. you will have ot make less drawings. tv's use 24 fps and that is my favorite because you don't have ot draw too many drawings and it will still look good.

Your speeds are more unison then how they should be. Overall, it is well done. Couple things to clean up are lines, other then that, good.

So the only slow part would be the grabbing? that makes sense, thanks

But seriously, it's pretty well timed, but you should try smoothing it a bit.

Out of his butt.

By smoothing, do you mean smooth the lines? or smooth the animation? because each pose has almost 5 follow through frames.

Captain mcross dosent actually make things with a pencil, it just flash. So do you want to make a real life pencil animaiton? or are you looking to make a cartoon like mcross?

not to rain on the parade, but I think you should have searched to be sure that this waent already done before

How about coming with a way to make it original? like... have the parts merge into eachother? Or have there be a story, or theme. Or have it be based around a certain character? It would not only make it original but also entertaining.

Alright, Press shift+F9, that will open the color window. under where it says "type" select solid for an ungradiented fill, select linear for a straight gradient, select radial for a circular gradient.

Next, do you see the little arrows pointing to places at the bottom of the window with the gradient?

double click an arrow to change it's color. Or drag it to change where on the fill the color will appear. Drag an arrow off the bar it is on to delte it and click a place on the bar to make another point in the gradient.

Hope I helped.

Hello, I just spent three hours on a single facial take O_O not any ordinary one I have done...sixty frames per second.

http://farfenwaffle.com/facial_take_60_f ps.html

It was really challenging, really fun, and really helpful! I have learned so much about keeping proportions and being really exact. I encourage you to try it!

Make an animation in 60 fps and post it here! It could be great fun!

Very well written animator request! I would do it but I am super busy in school. You may get more responses if you offered more of a pay, Possibly mention 50% of the profit made? It would certainly encourage more professional people.

Good luck to you and your collaborator!

WAZZUP? Just checking in again. I am going to work a bit more this weekend. I think in a week or so when I can front page post again I should mention this collab. Any other front page posters want to help? maybe organize it to intervals in the week? Just a thought to get the word out.

Anyway, here's the progress. still working on the timing for that last facial take. http://spamtheweb.com/ul/upload/061109/8 4668_5ShadesOrange_farfenwaffle.php

I Really love it, but you should make The nav buttons actually look like buttons. rather than just text like everything else. Maybe graphics, like pictures for the buttons? or a box around them? or have each of them be cardboard boxes with labels on them "home" "news""ect...". Maybe even different color?

Anyways, it'll be pretty short. The storyline is the alien shoots the ring into the ocean and it starts choking a fishy-type-object. The fishy-type-object starts looking for help but eventually explodes from suffocation.

Once it is done, I am going to (try) to write a musical score in Reason.

The clouds deffinately set the theme, I love how simplistic you got with it, I can't really say much more until I see more. sounds promising.

I like the character. I think you should add a few fourhead wrinkles, i think it would help exagerate how old he is. But I really like it.

I am still working...kinda...well...i was procrastinating for the last week! so I should get on the ball.
