I can play some of that stuff,but I have real problems on parts of some songs like Trivium's Like Light The Flies,the pre chorus of the song(40 seconds into it)

Im really looking to get better at alternate picking and string skipping and all that stuff.What songs could I learn to get me better at it,my friend told me that Laid to Rest from Lamb of God was a good one so thats the one im working on right now but is there any others?

btw i've been playing for about a year and a half.

He beats through the fire and flames on expert.He hits about 95 percent of the notes,and he frikin looks 10.

It's not that she strong,it's this thing where if someone gets hit in the chest at the right heartbeat,they will die.At least I think thatas the reason why,there was another story awhile back about a kid playong baseball and the pitcher threw the ball and it hit his chest an died.
