You are one lucky man, Tom. Goodnight, you should post all day tomorrow in celebration. I mean 151 posts in 5 years is pretty shameful.

Once again, I'm stuck on these numbers:
104 111 119 100 111 105 098 108 097 109
They somehow relate to this post, I believe:

I was wondering what you guys thought of this flash:
Baghdad Basketball

As you can see, it was flagged and I'm not totally sure why. Is it stolen? Or was the content just a little too racy? I mean, sure, I was laughing at the end when the NBA players got suicide bombed, but that kind of violence was too topical and current. I don't think suicide bombers are a laughing matter (even though I did laugh).

Anyways, I thought the flash itself was great quality and could make the front page easily, but was surprised to find it flagged. What do you guys think?

Lebron has limitless potential right now. He's sooo fucking good even though he's only just finished his second season. I think there's no doubt Lebron will be a better overall player than Reggie, but I also think he'll never be as good a shooter, clutch performer, etc., like you said,
I personally think MJ was a better clutch performer than Reggie. When MJ wanted to he could shoot 3s just as well as him (that one game where Jordan exploded for what, 8 threes in one half?) and Jordan had too many last second shots to count in his career.

Topic: Will there b another Reggie Miller?

Posted: 07/15/05 05:34 AM

Forum: General

Reggie could be an asshole. He was always talking shit on the court and getting in fights with Spike Lee and doing those dirty shoves to free himself up and all that, so I don't really like him very much as a player. On that play that you say he hit a three while being guarded by MJ, he actually shoved MJ really hard to free himself up before hitting the last second three. Shoved him so hard it was almost blatant. He did that kind of stuff all the time.
However, it's pretty obvious that he's one of the best clutch performers ever. He would come up big time after time after time with a three even when he was in his final years. A fantastic player no doubt, an incredible 3 point shooter, but I don't think I'd list him with all time greats.
Will there be another Reggie? Yes, there will be. A lanky clutch three point shooter with a long career will come along again some time.
