i wish this were true, but as i stated in an earlier post, the admins have this strange propensity to only punish those who they see as intentionally harming the site.
so if you form a crew with forums outside of NG and submit crap, it is seen as an attack on the site because you're on the outside looking in. but if you're a "well-respected" NG regular like afrostud, you get preferential treatment even if your flashes are way worse and break more rules than all that crew crap. i mean afrostud has probably wasted more of his pathetic life on this website than the rest of us combined. 100000+ b/p points? deity whistle? a weekly list of the top 300 B/Pers? he's more pathetically obsessed than any of us can imagine. my guess is the admins are only hesitant to delete the series because they value afrostud's presence. it cant possibly be because they actually want the series around

they couldn't be any closer to breaking rules. its almost as if the rules are designed to allow his flashes. the "resubmission" and "free blam point" rules just need the word "saved" in addition to "blammed" and afro would be gone. it would be a completely logical rule change.

they can't be blammed. the crowd supporting the flashes have a combined voting power far greater than anything you could ever gather together on the BBS

as surprising as this may sound, there is a pretty huge opposition to these series from former SS and KK members with far more voting power and years of NG experience than all of you mindless BBS regs who cant easily figure this stuff out.

but the solution isn't to vote zero. we need to convince the admins to delete them. make a petition or PM tom or something instead of trying to blam them.

i suppose another reason the admins are hesitant to punish him is because they're afraid of backlash. afrostud has a bunch of fans who would probably raise a ruckus if they deleted all that crap. but i would argue the backlash from continuing to allow afrostud's crap will be worse than any backlash you'll get from deleting it.

And, F00D, the episode that you saw get unflagged might have been mass flagged. As soon as Wade saw that it was mass flagged, he might have cleared the flags.

One other thing I have about them. If you had told me in November that I'd ever be defending BigFuzzyKitten I would have flamed you for being a dumb fuck or something, but... A while ago he made and submitted something with Ludacris that was fairly similar, only Luda wasn't Photoshopped and it was just with some flashing colors in the background. One was Blammed, and the admins deleted not only the entire series, but also an alt account of his that he had co-authored on them or something. So why were they deleted, while Afro's "work" is not?

Not sure if that's the entire story, but... That's the best I remember it.

yeah IMO its a really lame double standard the admins have set up.

crews with a forum outside of NG often display a hatred of this site because once you visit a crew's forums, you realize just how horrible the BBS and portal userbase is in comparison. and then once you start making crew flash, the NG audience immediately attacks you ruthlessly with abusive reviews, deepening your hatred of them. crappy zero effort spam designed to anger people is the result of this hatred. and when the admins see you attacking the website with garbage flash out of spite, they sympathize with you a lot less and won't hesitate to delete you even if you're a fledgling artist with quality work to contribute. theyve done it to countless SS and KK members for relatively minor offenses.

thats not to say those deletions weren't warranted, but its stupid as fuck that afrostud and his knockoffs get a free pass from the admins simply for being stat whore faggots whose whole lives revolve around this site and their gay protection points and whistle points. it apparently doesnt matter to the admins that afrostud's shit is way worse and breaks way more rules than the majority of the shit the SS or KK made. it seems like just because afro and his gay friends operate from the wi/ht forums and rarely display a hatred for NG, they are not given the punishment faced by the other spam crews.
