Well, there is no sponsor cos I'm doing it out of my own pocket and free time. If it EVER gets picked up by sponsors then of course there will be compensation for collaborators. The reason I say that this is not paid work is that I cannot guarantee that this will make any sort of cash at all since its all just something I'm doing to advance my own skill set. After all, if I'm not making any money out of this, how can I afford to pay anyone? :)

so you are making a video for a sponsor (aka will recieve payment) and cant spare a little cash? if im not mistaken thats not very encouraging, just sayain
Colorist/Inker needed Posted March 11th, 2012 in Collaboration

Hello!

I'm doing an experimental "machinima" project and I basically need someone to help me color/ink in the pictures I've drawn. I'm no artist by any means but I was forced to be character artist because my cousin, who was supposed to do all the art, bailed on me last minute. FYI, I'm the sound designer, director, script writer, principal voice actor, musician and video editor for this project.

90% of the first episode is already done (video, voice acting, sound design, music) just waiting on the additional graphics layer in the video, which will consist of the pictures.

I can't reward you in monetary terms but you'll have your name in the credits and you'll have access to a sound designer/musician (yours truly) if you need me to return the favor and supply audio for your future projects!

Some info about the work on the project:
-all that needs to be done is to color the 4 characters for now (first episode)
-there will be around 10-15 pictures to color throughout the entire project (6-7 episodes altogether)
-NO SUPER ULTRA AMAZING MAD REALISTIC SKILLZ needed (not complaining if you do though), but the end product must have basic shadow/lighting and not look like a kindergarten project

I've included a sample of the drawings that will need to be colored in. If you're interested, PM me for more details.

Thanks!

(I know this whole working for free thing will probably put off a lot of you here but trust me, if I could, I would have done it myself but I can't color to save my life!)

-NO SUPER ULTRA AMAZING MAD REALISTIC SKILLZ needed (not complaining if you do though), but the end product must have basic shadow/lighting and not look like a kindergarten project
-the colored drawings will be slightly pixelized at the end to reflect the 16-bit nature of the game it's based on
-will be posted on youtube (and possibly here on newgrounds but that would mean even more work for me!!!)

I've included a sample of the drawings that will need to be colored in. If you're interested, PM me for more details.

Thanks!

Response to: Need a Mario voice & a short song!! Posted May 20th, 2011 in Audio

Hi!

I'm actually interested in doing Mario's voice for this. I've always wanted to do a bit of voice acting.

Oh, if you still need someone to do the music, I'm up for it too!

...and have fun playing the instrument! People nowadays seem to forget to be happy and have fun with the instrument. Practicing nothing but sweep picked arpeggios over 4 octaves for days on end until you nail it perfectly is NOT how you become a better player. In fact, you might even lose your guitar in the process :p

You are a despicable little shit, a jealous cretin, a pathetic excuse for a musician, an NGer and a human being. You just can't let some people have their fun, so what do you do? You bitch about unfairness and cryptic rules, where when it truly comes down to it, you were just not up to par as others. WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU GET OFF AT THIS SHIT!? It's really childish and sickening.

Also I listened to your song, it sound like blippy nonsense, and had no clear melodic path. Complaining at others for not having a good melody? HMMMM. Kinda sounds like pinning your problems on others.

I can't write a wall of text just to show how much I can't stand you like others have, but I'm sure it's obvious how I feel.

HELL YEAH!!! The only way to deal with these whiny kids is to give it to em straight!!! Oh, and congratulations on the 1st place win, Spikrodd!

Very interesting these forums... so much drama! Maybe I should spend more time here :)
