HI! I'm looking for two voice actors (probably more later) for a sprite-based anime series, Black Crystal.

Right now, I need:

-Young Kuro (one-timer, unless changed otherwise)
A younger main character of the series. Kuro is a fun loving kid. This version of kuro is him in his past, at 10 years old. I'll need someone that can voice a young kid, but a bit deep enough that would match his older voice at 16 years old. (kuro at 16: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs5UFZ1KXjA). The majority of Kuro's lines are sad. He experiences a tragic, almost traumatizing event of seeing his village entirely burnt and destroyed. You must be able to do "light sobs", cry, and yell out in emotional anger.
Sample Lines:
-[Angrily]... why...? Why do you want to help? YouâEUTMre a human. Mom and Dad said weâEUTMre always enemies!
-[Terrified] N-No get away from me!
-[Uncertain, nervous] Ummm, oâEU¦okay. Train me! Teach me to fight!

-Gen (Only appears once in a while, but lasts throughout the series)
Gen is an old, middle aged man with extreme martial arts talent. He's about in his late 30s, maybe even 40s. Gen is a very, very sarcastic person that loves to tease and make fun of others without any care in the world. He will walk away from things if he doesn't feel like dealing with it. But, as a disciplined monk, he still cares enough to keep people alive if they are in danger. Gen ends up becoming Kuro's martial arts teacher, and helps Kuro become someone that can hold his own in the world. Gen's voice is deep, as the picture may suggest that he is quite a "very masculine" type of guy. Also, there are a lot of lines for Gen. He talks a bit for the first two episodes, as he is a teacher and needs to explain a bit of things to Kuro.

-[Mockingly] What, canâEUTMt talk? You brain-dead or something?
-Fine by me, but use your tiny head. You think a defenseless kid like you can survive in this world?
-Well IâEUTMll be. It looks like you finally did it. With some dumb luck, of course.

Hey! I'm ExtraHP a typical artist/spriter/animator/designer. This is really my first time using newgrounds, but I figured this is pretty much the best place for me to find the help I need.

I'm starting a big animation project. It'll be quite a long series (spanning over 10-20 episodes), so it will probably run for a couple of years in total. I will be the project leader, and it's mostly already well in production of the first episode, but we have some missing things. But first, here's the details of the project.

Black Crystal is a story written by me with completely original characters designed by me. It's about a creature named "Kuro Aonix", who basically loses his entire village due to some mysterious events during his childhood. He is now on a journey to find out exactly what happened to his people in a torn world where humans and creatures are constantly against each other.
It is mostly an action-based series with lots of high-speed action scenes (inspired by the Super Mario Bros Z series by Alvinearthworm), but there will be plenty of story and character development on the way.

So there's most of the basic details yall need to know. Now onto the main point of this thread.
We already have most of the things we need. We've got a really good cast of voice actors, an animator, script editors, and almost everything else. We could technically finish the first episode now with the current team, but it would be lacking. Right now, we're in extreme need of 2 things.

1. A music composer. We need someone who can make completely original soundtracks to be used for this show. The project will be quite slow so it's okay if you take long, but just not too long. What kind of music are we looking for? Music that fits many different moods, situations, and themes. Basically just like a soundtrack you would hear if you were watching a cartoon or anime. We also need opening themes and ending themes, maybe J-pop style, but not strictly. I will be very lenient on the music, since it's not a strong point of mine at all. If you can make lots of original tracks that can fit many moods (like happy, sad, dramatic, intense, battle themes, opening themes, ending themes), then please help!

2. Background artist. This is kind of an odd position, but I myself am not very good at drawing and spriting backgrounds. If you're good at drawing out landscape, that's basically is what we need. We do not want to use backgrounds from games because we want EVERYTHING, and absolutely EVERYTHING (with the exception of sound effects) to be COMPLETELY original in this series. We'd prefer a game-sprite style of backgrounds, but if you have some other style that works with my spriting style, we can test it out.

Finally, this project is non-profit, at least for now. So no, you will not be paid in any way... at least for now. If this show somehow gets popular enough and is picked up by something (and that's an extreme if), and we get some partnership, I will definitely split the profit equally. So please help ONLY if you're solely just interested to help create this project.
