i'm a cancer. Don't get me wrong or anything, i'm not like depressed or sad, i'm just confused about why everyone seems to want to be the same...or maybe they really ARE all the same, i don't know. Maybe i just stick out because i live in a small town...
I live in Portland (Maine, that is.) Which isn't exactly a big city, but not a small town either. EVERYONE is either a drunken redneck, a wanna-be hippie, or gay (I am not a bigot or anything, but it's true. Portland has a HUGE gay population.) They're all the same. I've spoken to many people from day to day, they all think the same, sound the same, even dress the same (some of them.)
I spent most of my life as an outcast for the dumbest reasons, mostly because people are too full of their own shit to get to know the real me. People are so full of shit and most of them don't know their own asses from holes in the ground. Hell, just look at most of the people who come HERE to NG! We're all fucked in the head! but do we care? not really.
People are full of shit, you shouldn't let them influence you in ways that might affect how you grow as a person. If that happens for too long, you start to become them.
That may sound strange, but that's the best advice I can give right now: Don't let people get inside your head when you don't want them there, get inside your own mind and hang out for a while.
