Cherry Pie and Soy Bomb, I honestly didn't expect either of these, epic day for my GH career.

However, I went postal earlier because I finally hit the trills in Radium Eyes' last guitar solo, got all the way to the last 3 notes and miss note 529/530 leaving me with a -1 (I HATE THOSE OH GOD RAAAGE). Now I can't hit the trills again and it's driving me crazy.

It's not really all THAT fun, it's just a nice challenge in the game that carries bragging rights. Once you beat everything else and you only have that empty spot in your setlist, it's maddening. When you beat it, however, it's a great feeling.

On a side note, I picked up GH: A. I played through it in two days, 5 starring everything ON SIGHTREAD except for "Back In The Saddle Again", "Train Kept A- Rollin", and "Joe Perry Guitar Battle (5* just a few minutes ago). In my opinion, it's a fun game with songs that are entertaining to play, but no real challenge to it. If you're looking for a game with difficult songs, this isn't the game for you. The only tough ones were JPGB and TKaR (which was SEVERELY overcharted). For a moderately skilled player, this game is worth every penny, but for seasoned experts, it might come off as a waste.

HANGAR 18 FTW! This is my second favorite song in the game, next to FreeBird, and passing it is fairly easy, as kibg as you actually KNOW what's going on in the solos. Take it into practice, go to the part you're failing at and run it through on slow so you can see what's going on in the solos. It's mostly just sweeps and HOPO's. Save up star power for the ending epic solo, you should be able to hit the end parts, as they're just fast strumming and pull-offs.

whereas on GH3, even with easier Ho/Pos, I just fail miserably at shit like the bridge in before I forget.... idk abuot GH2.... it just hasn't hooked me in like GH3 did.

GH2 is precision, GH3 is flailing and random strums, not to say it's not fun, just a lot easier and unrealistic. Keep playing, it'll grow on you.

That said, there still are some awesome tunes that are just so much fun to play on GH2 though. These include: Mother, Search & Destroy, Jessica, Rock 'N' Roll Hoochie Coo, YYZ, and a couple of others I can't think of at the moment. And also I haven't really done much in the way of bonus songs yet.

The setlist in GH2 was stellar, because it was mostly tracks with GREAT guitar parts. Fun to play, yet still challenging. Buy Jordan from the shop, and try that out in practice ;]

I never get on NewGrounds, but today I decided to come. I joined this club a while back and I pretty much failed Expert Mode at the time.

I've beaten GH3, 5 starred everything in career mode too except for Raining Blood and NOTB, and a myriad of bonus songs.

Still can't pass TTFAF, simply because of the intro. I play this on No Fail mode and get around 85-90% everytime I play, so the intro is bullshit IMO.

GH2:

This is actually my favorite game of the entire GH series, because the HOPO's are perfect, I think. In GH3, they're so easy the game loses a lot of fun that way. In GH2 you have to be a little accurate, whereas in GH3 you can just sort of know what's coming up and hit a good bit of it.

I finally broke 410k on Freebird today, which I see as a pretty big accomplishment.

I FINALLY fucking thrashed Jordan and beat it, 3 stars and 82% (See Pic), which made me feel like celebrating. That was the best moment of my GH Career. I've since beaten it 3 times and gotten a 4 star, and 250k. I'll 5 star this soon, I just beat this song rarely because it's so much work to pass the two behemoth solos.

He's only screwed around with around 10mg of Hydrocodone before, and he's unsure of what to do with this pill, as it's his first time on Oxycodone. He's heard stories of OD from just one crushed pill. If he were to just simply TAKE it, no chewing or other shit, would he feel any sort of high, or is crushing necessary for recreational use?

Just got back from filling up the prescription, it took so long. I was just anxious the whole time, but there were no problems whatsoever with getting it.

I'm gonna stay away from ALL types of drugs for at least 2 weeks before the bloodwork from now on, just to be safe.

It's just a widespread testing and they more than likely WILL notice that thing, unless it's a special compound that doesn't alter any normal thing, they won't do a terribly widespread for all compounds test.

IMO, Gh3 is pretty killer :D

The tracks were pretty good, even though I could have done without Mauvais Garcon, the only song I flat out hated. The new HOPO's make the game a good bit easier, and somewhat more fun.

The only song in the main setlist that really pissed me off was Raining Blood.

Not even the whole song (solo's pretty bitchin), it's just Mosh 1. They charted that part badly and made it FAR too difficult to pass.

I beat it without too much trouble, though. Hit OBYR then BYR and you should pass it in greens.

Lou was a BLAST to play. The song is just really well charted out. I've probably beaten him at least 10 times now, all at different parts.

The easiest kill for him that I noticed was right after your 1st solo. He has a big ass string of green notes and a solo after them. If your first powerup was a whammy, then he has no chance of surviving.

What does the bloodwork detect? Would it show levels of any other prescription drug other than what is specifically advised not to take with it?

I took a break from PWM.

I'm trying the ever-hated Jordan on GH2 again. That still remains the only song I haven't beaten on expert yet. Six is the only other song that gives me any trouble on the game.

If I can finish Jordan, I can say that I've completely finished the game. Give me all the tips and pointers you have. Please God.

I rented GH: 80's yesterday.

I blew through the whole setlist, up until Electric Eye, which gave me a little bit of trouble. I beat that and the rest of that list with a little difficulty (Fucking Seventeen, I failed at 98% like 3 times).

Then I got to the encore, "Play With Me".

And I'm still there.

I keep failing at around 80-90%. I get a little star power before the big solo, but I have to use that on Solo A. After A, I get more star power, which goes to get me through the rest of solo B/C , then I run out, miss a few notes and get back to the deep red pretty quick, and fail.

Any tips?

Well, it's been a while since i posted, but I beat Expert Mode finally and got my Battle Axe :O

But I've been taking a look at all these custom tracks that people have put into the game, and they're absolutely insane.

I thought Jordan was overwhelming, but after seeing "Eruption" by Van Halen or any of the tracks by Dragonforce, it looks like a piece of cake. If the developers decided to actually make some professional note charts for those songs, then we may have some real challenges on our hands.

IMO, No Boundaries by Michael Angelo Baio, Nottingham Lace by Buckethead, and Cry for Eternity should all be Bonus Tracks in the next game.

If you haven't seen these beasts yet, then go to YouTube and search "Guitar Hero Custom" then the song name.
