I know this is going to probably come off as weak, but I like to think of it in the sense that, as my signature reads, the best rapper's white, the best golfer's white, (also) the tallest person in the NBA is Chinese, the best porn star is short, fat, and bald, the most offended athlete is French, the richest foreigner is Mexican, and the best politician is black and named Barrack Hussein Obama, the existance of ghosts/angels actually sounds somewhat plausible.

I know that probably doesn't mean anything, but I think it's really funny.

Well, on google, I finally went up and saw this movie. And...it was good.

I'd give it *** out of four. Some of the stuff I didn't like, but overall it was a legitimately good movie. Not as good as "Borat" but it still had a lot of work put into it, and it was interesting to hear all this stuff. Now I can finally shut up about it.

It was great to finally see it, as I had been thinking about it so much. The fact that it was just given to me was a miracle. Hee hee.

Response to: Territories=Colon ies? Posted December 31st, 2008 in Politics

The whole thing about territories confuses me.

Like, are Hong-Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Tibet territories of China? Or are they independent countries? Do the people in these areas considered themselves Chinese?

Yeah, that's what I say. Abortion is legal in the USA (last time I checked at least), so why not make the sacrifice more useful?

Well, good luck. With how bad the economy is going nowadays, it's not going to be easy.

Honestly, I filled out a dozen job applications, and never got a single phone call from anyone. I finally got a job at six hours a week at a McDonald's as a janitor.

You know, as much as I resent some of these ideas, I should probably just stop right now, as I haven't seen the movie.

Response to: "Retard" - politically acceptable? Posted December 30th, 2008 in Politics

I wasn't even aware there was a time where it was acceptable. It's always had the same status with me.

But I digress. "Retard" is an OK word to use, but not that often.

Response to: Religulous Posted December 30th, 2008 in Politics

Oh, yes! This movie's been annoying me for so long it's nice to be able to talk about it!

As for me, I haven't seen the movie (I live in Panama City), but I do regularly watch Bill Maher's show, and I did get to see the last six minutes on Youtube.

The whole thing about this notion is that it's entirely hypocritical. Bill appeared on The Daily Show and said that he thought that "atheism mirrored religion". Oh, really? George Carlin said, "There is no God, there never will be", and you credit Carlin with your views on religion. Okay, you clearly lied, Bill. So, you don't make fun of any atheists ever even if they're just as guilty as religious people?

I mean, if you really want to know someone who has their head straight when it comes to religion and secularism, look at South Park. The creators said that they believed in God, but in an intervening one, like Bill himself. Unlike Bill, they mock both sides of the argument, and think that atheism is pretty irrational, if you believe that there's this big universe with things happening just because. I would just love to see an episode where they mock Bill Maher. Come on, Trey and Matt!

Seriously, I watched the ending of the movie and it was a freaking Drug PSA. Didn't you get the feeling that he was trying to scare you into believing in his ways? Isn't that what he claims religion does? Also, he says how horrible it is to believe in the end of the world. In case you didn't know, in four billion years, the Sun will explode and the Earth will indeed be destroyed. So the religious folk got it right on that. Christopher Hitchens himself said that he knows the Earth will be destroyed someday. Why not mock Mr. Hitchens for that?

Truth be told, Bill is just so easy to make fun of, because I believe his views on religion are quite ridiculous. So, the moral is, if there's two sides that argue about something, go with the side that doesn't have the greatest teacher of all time? Yeah, top notch moral, Bill.

Bottom line, it's wrong to say that you know what happens after you die. However, if you prefer one philosophy over another when both are equally incorrect, that makes you a hypocrite, if not a two-faced liar. Truth be told, I would have preferred if someone like David Cross or Doug Stanhoupe made this documentary (who are atheists). At least I would know where I stood with those guys.

Incidentally, I had a cat named Velvet who was very close to me. However, she was so ill she ran away and we never heard from her again.

Weird thing is, I don't play video games anymore. It may be because it would be too expensive to get the systems, or that I spend more time on the Internet. I do have fond memories of a lot of video games, as you can see on my favorites page. My favorite is Super Mario World.

I thought it was pretty good. The problem is, it's a movie that's known for having a hatedom assiocating with it. I went to Rottentomatoes and it had a score of 50%. Half the people who watched it liked it, and half the people who watched it didn't like. I kind of like movies like that.

Response to: A Freakin Ghost In My Country. Posted December 28th, 2008 in General

I do believe in ghosts, because it's about the afterlife, and with me being a (fairly) religious person, it would be hypocritical of me not to believe it.

For the record, I also believe in aliens, because once again, if you believe in stuff like angels, aliens sound pretty plausible.
