Response to: my uncle just died Posted August 30th, 2010 in General

I have never had a family member die a violent death that was really close to me. I think I may have had a great uncle who shot himself, but as my family can be so massive it is quite hard to tell. I hope you manage to take this tragedy into account and not let it get the best of you. You can only use this as a lesson as to why you should not do what your uncle did. You can either run from the past or learn from the past.

Response to: Wat do you use duct tape for??? Posted August 30th, 2010 in General

I am using duct tape at this very moment. I have had warts all my life. My mom and I went to like half a dozen places to try to get them frozen off, but nothing seemed to work. I read on the Internet (or somewhere) that freezing warts off only works 60% of the time, whereas putting duct tape works 85% of the time. I actually tried that once and the wart went away! Now it looks like another wart has emerged, so I hope I do not get into the other 15%.

Response to: Sick Bitch Throws Puppies In River Posted August 30th, 2010 in General

This happened right after we heard a news story about someone who was throwing (well, more like pushing) a cat into a garbage can. Will animal cruelty never stop? People have simply always done these things and I did not want to see this video but due to being a little late, I managed to get a glimpse of the first few seconds and even that scarred me for life. I wish animal rights groups were not corrupt like PETA.

Response to: What if Glenn Beck was President? Posted August 30th, 2010 in Politics

He would probably be even worse than George W. Bush of course. It is hard to believe he could get a lot of damage done because so many people in the Senate would vote against him. Of course, if we assume that the people in the Senate support him, then we're dead meat. I have not been keeping up much with this guy because he is quite frankly an idiot and I do not even care what he thinks anymore. I might leave the country, who knows?

Ah ha! I have been to Snopes.com and looked at their article on this very riddle and it is a trick question. There is in fact no answer to this at all, not even a joke one.

Gaia online? I just went over there today to look at their stuff and when I look at the posters, it does not say how many posts that person has made! If there is someone who has seriously made millions of posts, they deserve to own the Internet. I heard about this one guy on betterbidding.com me thereuare and has over 110,000 posts!

Response to: The Top 100 Reviewers List Posted August 29th, 2010 in Where is / How to?

Hey guys, I just recently passed on to the Top 10, not to mention recently getting over 4,000 reviews! I love all you guys and thank you for any kind words you gave me. It is fantastic to be on the same page as people like YoinK, CyberDevil, KWAS71KCK, and XwaynecoltX, whom I will all hopefully beat one day!

Would candy bars count? If so, I would say this.

Response to: What's original these days to you? Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

I would say the movie "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World". It is hard to say that is truly original because it is based on a comic book. Of course, the comic book was itself first created in 2004, and given the fact that there are so many movies and stuff being created that are based on really older works, it is still fairly new. I tried to get into the comic book, but I found out that my store does not have the first volume.

Response to: can you have a meet up in... Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

How about Panama City? I have lived there for the past eight years of my life and despite being one of the most prolific reviewers here, I have yet to go to a single convention or anything from NG. Of course, I suppose getting a ton of reviews in no way merits that. I mean, of all the videos I see of people at Newgrounds meetings, I have yet to see any that at least specified that XwaynecoltX, or KWAS71KCK were in them.

Response to: Foriegn Films W/Subtitles Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

I think the problem that most people have with it is that some people find it distracting. They are not able to completely focus on the entire visual complex and instead have to save some time for reading. I imagine that there are a lot of people who simply hate reading and especially go to movies just so they can get away from that sort of thing. I am sure there are plenty of people that are happy with subtitles as we know them.

Response to: The Beatles Rule! Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

I heard nearly every Beatles song simply because I always listen to popular songs on the Internet, and they are the most popular band of all time. I would have to say my favorite of theirs would be "Let It Be", and not just because it has a music video made by the Clock Crew here. You could probably play every single Beatles song and I would recognize every single one of them, only because everything they made was popular.

Response to: German Cannibal Restaurant Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

Would it be more effective to eat people who are already dead? If there are surgeons who are donating stuff, then wouldn't the organs and stuff be cancerous or contaminated usually? Or is really any difference in health if you eat something with a tumor in it? Anyway...

Response to: Women with glasses Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

It is fairly easy to say that I would prefer women without glasses, because if you put glasses on you are just putting on more clothing and who wants that when they are looking for someone attractive? I believe that you can look good with glasses on, but the examples for me are fairly rare. I thought that it was the standard notion that girls with glasses on were not that attractive, as they were like geeks or something.

Response to: A Declaration Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

Oh yeah, I remember seeing that and thinking it was pretty funny. I like that song especially considering that it happened to be my brother's favorite song of that year. There were a couple of things that seemed off with the music, but overall it was good. The people who worked on this did a good job of creating an authentic little short film, or sketch as you might call it. The voice work is probably the strongest point.

Response to: Well This is Fucking Annoying. Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

I realize that I have actually been pretty lucky. I live in Panama City of all places, and that is a place known for having wild stuff going on, especially near Spring Break. I have never had an event like that happen in my life but due to the fact that I have a father who makes nearly 6 figure makings in a year, he has more influence than most people and could probably stop all that stuff just for the family. He's nice like that.

Response to: A Video Portal? Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

Artistic video portal? If you want an artistic video you can simply do that on YouTube as well. You can post nearly any kind of video here if you want as long as it does not break any of the rules and it passes judgement. Then again, I never understood the point of an art portal here seeing as how people simply have Deviantart. It probably would take up more space than it would be worth in the long run anyway, you know.

Response to: Most "famous" Bbs Poster? Posted August 29th, 2010 in General

What about CyberDevil? I seriously think that guy has the most impressive stats of anyone on the entire website. He might not be loved, but he certainly has enough BBS posts for some achievement. I am also thinking of perhaps JHMX, as he was the guy who made "The Regular Lounger's Thread" the longest forum on this entire website? You might also count poxpower, who set the record for most topic started (at least he did until m00t.threads was closed).

Response to: Y10K problem Posted August 28th, 2010 in General

Good point, but you have a few things to consider here. Do you honestly think that in 8,000 years we will not have found a way for us to go beyond that? I mean, think of how much we have advanced with computer in just the past 8 years, so by this time, adding a new thing to the computer should be a breeze. If we went from the first airplane to the first spaceship in less than 100 years, we can do this too.

Response to: Feeding people their own brains... Posted August 28th, 2010 in General

Of course it is possible. Remember Phineas Gage? He was a guy who had a certain part of his brain destroyed. He simply lost some of his gray matter and if he had allowed it, he could have eaten part of his own brain. Some other people have lost parts of their brain and lived and could have eaten it if they wanted. I did not want to watch that entire clip as I have heard about it and probably know more than I should anyway.

We will have probably wiped ourselves out through global warming or nuclear fallout or something like that. It seems to be unfathomable to imagine how life would be like in a billion years from now, seeing as how the history of writing only began about 6,000 years ago. We would most likely have solved so many problems we would be perfect or we would have all died out through war or said ways.

Response to: Hilton busted for cocaine Posted August 28th, 2010 in General

Of all the dumb things that Paris Hilton was associated with, I think that this is easily the worst thing she has ever done. Normally, I would criticize her for not doing anything at all, outside from being in a couple of bad movies and being related to people that own the Hilton hotels. To be honest, I do not even find her that attractive. I think she was annoyed she was not in the celebrity spotlight for awhile now.

Response to: the rare GOOD music on audio portal Posted August 28th, 2010 in General

If you want good audio, then you should probably go to someone who is really popular here and look at some audio of theirs or simply look for their favorite audio. Another good place to start would be finding the thread that talks about the most prolific audio reviewers as they would certainly have some good things to choose from. Or you could simply go over to the audio portal and look at the highest rated and most popular stuff there.

Response to: Best user for regular user? Posted August 28th, 2010 in General

Probably Tom Fulp. How awesome would it be to see stuff he has to say more frequently? He does have over 4,000 posts and I would think that anyone with over 1,000 would be considered a regular. Of course, they do not have a ranking system for people who have the most posts unlike the reviewers or people with experience points or total blams and saves. Any guy really popular here should come like LegendaryFrog.

Response to: Why are there no 2010 users here? Posted August 28th, 2010 in General

They know by now that there are tons of users who are simply too experienced for them. Unless the know a lot about the site already, they will be completely confused as to what is going and have given up already. Or, there are people from 2010, it is just that we are so used to seeing users here that have over 1,000 posts and who are already popular we simply ignore newcomers unless they do anything signficant.

Oh thank you so much. I had no idea this was the same guy who did "Loose Change". It is really sad how this is one of the most viewed videos on YouTube (and probably the most viewed movie there too!) but luckily we are smarter than that.

Response to: Most "famous" Bbs Poster? Posted August 28th, 2010 in General

I was thinking it might be Jeff Weise AKA Regret, but then I realized he did not make any BBS postings. I am thinking it might also be perhaps Adam Fulton AKA Livecorpse. While not the most prolific poster, he certainly made a lot of posts and he became infamous after that incident you should all know of. I think we might also say that Tom Fulp could be the most famous BBS poster on the site, or maybe Wade?

Response to: Awesome pet names? Posted August 27th, 2010 in General

I named my cat General. I chose the name because I was trying to think of a name for my new cat (his previous name was "Max", which we thought was kind of a dumb name) and I happen to be driving with my mom around the Dollar General store and "General" seemed like an original name for a cat (or really any pet), and the name just stuck. Sometimes a second cat will come into our house and I decided to call it "Dollar".
