Response to: PSAs played in school. Posted September 7th, 2010 in General

While I am in college now I guess I was lucky enough to miss out on a lot of these stupid PSA's. Whenever people want to teach me a point now, they simply show classic movies like "12 Angry Men" to study politics and stuff, not to mention "High Noon". While they are works of fiction, they still could speak to us a heck of a lot more than any dumb drug PSA. They might have been too long ago for me to remember.

Response to: Most shocking film Posted September 7th, 2010 in General

Did anybody else see "Piranha 3D"? It was a movie aired this year with Richard Dreyfuss and Christopher Lloyd. It was easily the most disturbing and disgusting film I have ever seen. It definitley has the most nudity of any non pornographic film I have heard of. It also probably has the most onscreen deaths, although it is very difficult to determine exactly how many died.

Ah ha! That supposed "meme" was itself deadpooled from KnowYourMeme! Dang, I have seriously been going on that website too much.

Response to: E=mc(squared) Or E=(mc)(squared) Posted September 6th, 2010 in General

The full title for the E=mc2 equation is that energy (E) is (=) mass (m) times the speed of light (c) squared (2). The mass and speed of light are multiplied so only the speed of light is squared. I am curious as to why the letter "c" was chosen to represent the speed of light, or rather, the velocity of the speed of light. I guess they might use the "c" from "velocity" but that is stretching it. You should just go to Wikipedia for stuff like that.

Response to: The Periodic Table and Atoms.. Posted September 6th, 2010 in General

Here, this might be able to help you. Granted, it does not talk much about the atomic structure and whether something is a solid, liquid, or gas, but it is a great way to get started. I never had much trouble with this because all I had to do was look at the table and I was usually given one when I was working on a test, but I guess you are not that lucky.

That's great! I can not help but remember when Weebl's "Weebl And Bob" cartoons were shown on MTV or some network like that. David Firth also got some decent work on professional television. Why is it that all the British Internet animators seem to get more success on TV than American ones? I have never even heard of The Brothers Chaps doing a single animation for TV even though they are probably the most famous flash animators in the world.

Slapping your best friend's face on a cement driveway is something a pussy who can't stand up for himself does? I would REALLY hate to know what a guy who can stand up for himself would have done.

To be honest, you have to sort this out right away, because this could go under attempted murder charges.

Response to: futerama Posted September 6th, 2010 in General

You bet I am! While I was saddened to see the final episode of the season, given the fact that it is a Matt Groening cartoon, it will most likely go on. I have seen nearly every episode of this show, and there are probably no more than half a dozen episodes I have never seen before. The characters are fantastic, not to mention there are tons of great jokes. It is so convienent that Comedy Central now has my two favorite animated shows, this and "South Park".

Response to: Smartest General Poster?! Posted September 6th, 2010 in General

I guess it would probably be someone who never got banned from the forums, EVER. That person would know exactly how things worked and was completely perfect in every post. Does anyone know who has the record for the most frequent poster who has never been banned? Or they could just come forward and say it themselves and we could see how many posts each of them has. Has anyone here taken count?

Response to: happy 19th ledgey Posted September 6th, 2010 in General

For a moment there, I thought you were talking about the late Heath Ledger, but of course he was not 19 when he died nor would he be 19 by today's time period. While I have once again never heard of Ledgey before, I am glad to wish him a happy 19th birthday! Judging by your profile, you have made a lot of blams and saves and should be recognized for all the contribution that you have given to this website and stuff.

You're doing it wrong. The correct thing is "THEN WHO WAS PHONE?" or rather, "THEN WHO WAS X?". In case you did not know, that stuff has pretty much been banned from the Creepypasta website, because at least one person used it in every comment and it got annoying.

Response to: So I made a meme. Posted September 6th, 2010 in General

Normally, I would not consider a meme that is so forced on Newgrounds to be something. However, if you seriously made a meme on 4chan, then it probably does have a good chance simply because the 4chan message boards have generated more memes than any other website. I can not wait for this to show up on KnowYourMeme, but without deriatives, it is going to end up in deadpool, or at least stay a long time in "Submissions".

Oh yeah, same here. Well, it is not that I could not sleep, it is just that when I first saw that stuff, it probably was the scariest stories that I had ever read. I kept getting this eerie feeling in my body. When I go on to the CreepyPasta website, I am nowhere near as scared, because I have gotten a lot more used to it. They still have some great stuff there and you can just read the comments on how scary people think they are.

Anything my brother does, because his life is so much of a giant mess, really anything he does to progress or go backward would be something that I could understand. I am so glad that he is finally taking his medicine even after he admitted that he had a problem, but had not been taking medicine at all for the past half, because he really thought that he could do it on his own or something like that. May he get better!

Have you ever gone to Encyclopedia Dramatica? While I am not the biggest fan of that website, it was the first place that I heard of CreepyPasta, and they have a section there devoted to creepypastas that are good, okay, and bad. Just check out the good parts they have. It probably would have been better if they kept their original format with nothing but good stuff on one page, but ED is of course not something that pleases fans.

Response to: Who Is Your "newgrounds Friend"? Posted September 5th, 2010 in General

I regret to say that no, I have not. The closest I probably ever had to friends were Tails-Lock or Kirbopher. I offered to do voice work for both of these guys, but they said they didn't want me, especially Tails-Lock who simply said I had a terrible voice. I guess that I have gotten some good comments from people like Illuminate, and XwaynecoltX, as they have given me nice words of encouragement with my reviews.

I have college so I have to work only three days a week, and that means that on most days, I do not even go there! Of course, I still have to work to get a real job and to study for tests and everything, as I always did more successfully in High School anyway. I am already in my second week and am glad to say that I had my first quiz and it went very well. Granted, I have yet to receive a grade for it, but it seemed to go well at least.

Response to: More thin or fat people at NG? Posted September 5th, 2010 in General

Well, I have seen some pictures of people on Newgrounds who have YouTube accounts and have appeared onscreen and everything. I really do not find a lot of fat people on Newgrounds, as you would expect more fat people to be Internet celebrities, which is at least true for people like Gary Broslma or the Star Wars Kid. I think most NGers are in fact skinny, or at least normal body shape and I am glad of that.

Response to: Most fucked up thing you ever saw? Posted September 5th, 2010 in General

The most disgusting thing I ever saw was probably the "3 guys 1 hammer" video. Granted, I only saw a few seconds of it, but that was all I needed to see. I think the most disturbing thing I ever saw the whole way through would probably be "2 Girls 1 Cup". I went through the entire Encyclopedia Dramatica "Offended" article and I was kind of ashamed at myself that I was not more offended by it, of course.

Response to: Do you have an inny or an outtie? Posted September 5th, 2010 in General

I have an "innie". In fact, I think my entire family has those, as I am not sure if I have ever seen an "outie". I just always thought that everyone had a navel that looked like mine, due to the fact that I had never even heard of there being different belly buttons by looking at other people. I guess I just never really looked at those parts of people or I never got close enough to look at someone else's body like that.

Become addicting to posting other places, like Facebook or YouTube. Anyway, you only have about 1,000 posts, so you are nowhere near the records of some of the most prolific guys around. If you are making that many posts a day and are not getting banned, you should be proud of yourself for managing to be so dang prolific without getting in trouble with the mods. You should learn to embrace how talented you are for doing this.

Response to: Should Batman kill The Joker? Posted September 5th, 2010 in General

While Batman certainly has a code against killing, this still does not answer the question of why somebody else has simply not shot the Joker. Given the fact that he is a known mass murderer, you would think at this point that the moment he shows up in any place a police office is (or for that matter, any place where someone with a gun is) they would simply fill him with lead on the spot. Of course, it would end the series again.

Hmm, I'm going to have to disagree with you there. It currently has an 8.1 on the Internet Movie Database and just to put that into perspective, "Tokyo Story" has a rating of 7.9. TS manages to have the highest rating of any move on Rotten Tomatoes at a whopping 9.6 and even at that, it has a lower rating than SPVTW.

Interesting point. It reminds me of "Inglorious Basterds" where they had to kill the other high-ranking Nazis to stop them. I mean, there are literally dozens of Nazis who have their own quotes on Wikiquote, so it is perfectly possible the dozens of others would have simply done something.

Response to: Should Batman kill The Joker? Posted September 4th, 2010 in General

I have read some stuff that Batman and the Joker need each other to exist in a sort of yin-yang scenario. I think you probably could kill the Joker, but kill Batman as well. There have been some Elseworld stories in which people actually have killed the Joker, but the funny thing is that they actually show the world as being worse without the Joker. Besides, with that, there would simply be no story.
