Response to: A Serious Discussion About Ghosts. Posted December 28th, 2011 in General

I remember how people like Bill Maher and Penn and Teller make jokes about why ghosts are always in clothes when they shouldn't be. Then again, if there were really ghosts, why would they even have to look like their physical bodies? It's not their physical bodies that are like this, it's their souls and who says their souls have to resemble their bodies? I think the notion is that if there were ghosts, them having clothes is just how we would perceive them.

I didn't know Creme eggs were British. It makes sense how they keep appearing in Weebl cartoons.

Response to: What is the point in testing? Posted December 28th, 2011 in General

I think those things don't really belong on this website. Of course, I'm not one to judge because those appear a lot and some of them do get passed, but I don't think most of them do. They change in terms of quality as much as regular flash submissions, although they do mostly have a tendency to be not as good. It's generally frowned upon, but then again, this is everything, by everyone, so as long as it gets passed, people should let it be.

Response to: How was every one Posted December 28th, 2011 in General

I had a decent Christmas. While it wasn't one of my favorites, it's still noteworthy as all of my Christmases have been good and I am glad to have spent it with my grandparents. I guess it's still not fully over as my family is going to have its own Christmas celebration with their own presents as soon as we get back home, or at least around that time. This was the first time in several years that it didn't snow on Christmas, but we can't win them all.

Response to: Was that the last Christmas ever?? Posted December 28th, 2011 in General

Well, they said that the world would end when pigs fly or Hell freezes over or when Duke Nukem Forever comes out. At least one of those things happened, so if the world did end in 2012 or at least sometime soon, I wouldn't be that surprised. Then again the movie "Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day" took 69 years to create and it was released in 2008, and the world didn't end then. The longest running TV narrative "The Guiding Light" ended in 2009 and again, nothing happened.

Response to: Damn bugs! Posted December 28th, 2011 in General

I don't think any of those animals qualify as bugs or insects. By silverfish, are you referring to a kind of fish or more of the small multi legged thing? I don't think either of those are technically insects because of how they have more than six legs, although I'm not sure how many legs a silverfish has. Of course, I know what you mean, so I imagine everyone is afraid of things like that. For me, the worst thing is probably poisionous spiders.

Response to: Dbz vs Bleach Posted December 28th, 2011 in General

Dbz would of course win as although I am not a fan of Bleach I am a fan of Dragonball Z and now that probably no one but TTGL could beat DBZ. Characters there can destroy entire galaxies and I don't think the characters in "Bleach" ever got to that level of power. Heck, the weakest characters in DBZ can destroy THE MOON. Master Roshi could do it in "Dragonball" and he's a complete wimp by the standards of everyone in DBZ.

Oh really? I assumed because of the fact that they had no arms, it didn't matter what foot they used. If certain animals did have hands, would they have a dominant hand too? it's the same thing with animals who already have hands like chimpanzees. Of course, I don't think they can write.

Response to: The Hobbit is creepy Posted December 28th, 2011 in General

I do remember this, but I thought you were talking about the upcoming Hobbit movie. This isn't bad, but I can understand why it would come off as creepy because the animation does seem too weird in this. It was probably the first time I was introduced to "The Lord Of The Rings" and I actually had little idea what it was even about back then, so I didn't know where it was leading to. It was so long ago, it's hard to say whether I like it or not.

Response to: What do you do? Posted December 28th, 2011 in General

I mostly just do the two main things you do with friends, eat out and watch movies. Granted, it's probably been awhile since I've done either of those things with friends, but at least it's something I try to do whenever the oppurtunity arises. Those are also the two primary things I do when I'm alone, you know. What's funny is how I am so used to going on the Internet all the time. I also ride my bike, which is pretty good exercise for me.

Response to: Gl vs Dbz Posted December 27th, 2011 in General

This a close one, because these are probably two of the most awesome anime series out there. I think that the robots from TTGL would probably win. I say this because those robots have managed to become like larger than the Universe itself in terms of size or so I've heard. I highly doubt even Gogeta could take out a lifeform as strong as that. TTGL are also said to have robots that are like triple infinity which I don't think DBZ characters have.

You could add April Fulp to the mix, I am sure. I know she isn't a contributor to this website, but it would make the most sense. Does anyone know what the name of Tom's kid is? He could be here too, but I'm not quite sure how he would fit in as well. Maybe someone else would know of any other relatives of people on Newgrounds? I can't think of any besides the Fulps, but it seems like there should be at least a couple of them around.

Response to: Hottest NG girls? Posted December 27th, 2011 in General

I think the only girls that I've actually seen what they look like in real life are RebeccaRose and Rina-chan. RebeccaRose doesn't look that good, but Rina-chan's not bad. Funny, I keep hearing jokes about how fat and ugly she is, but I guess I must have missed something, because I don't view her like that at all. I keep thinking Gagsy is a man, mostly because Gagsy's profile says that he is a man. I don't see why that would be covered up.

Response to: Pot Facts For Teens Posted December 27th, 2011 in General

People who smoke marijuana are more likely to be depressed in later life? I would say that's odd, because people always keep saying how marijuana makes you feel better. Instead of those drug PSAs, we should have PSAs that say things like how people who smoke weed are more likely to have problems in early adulthood. Granted, it might encourage people to simply take drugs when they get older, but it's better when they are younger, I guess.

Response to: Is the General Forums ... Posted December 27th, 2011 in General

Certainly. I see threads here all the time featuring people who ask questions like how they should deal with a situation in their life. It's also noteworthy how many people are able to respond to each other based on personal experiences. I notice a lot of threads that have a person ask what they should do with their girlfriend. I don't see a lot that ask questions about boyfriends, for, well, obvious reasons. There's no girls on the Internet.

Agreed. Abortions are going to happen no matter what, because there will always be people who want them. There will simply be unregulated versions going around if it's illegal making it worse if it's illegal.

Wait, I have another one! What if there was some transporting machine that you could take any food to anyone in the world who needed it? Of course, transporters would probably have much better use like a person going from one place to another. Imagine how easy it would be to take vacations. Of course, you could take vacations all the time with that kind of technology. You wouldn't have to worry about finding directions or anything.

Response to: Itt We Talk About Our Xmas Presents Posted December 27th, 2011 in General

Well, I finally took my Christmas money and managed to buy something I wanted. My old pair of shoes had a hole in the toe part, so I simply went out and got new ones along with my brother. I also went to the bookstore and got the latest Complete Peanuts book and was pretty surprised to find that it cost over $30! I guess there just haven't been enough of those things for me to notice how expensive they can be. At least they're great.

Whenever someone (usually an adult) mentions believing in Santa Claus, I know they are going to mention it's like believing in God. Same thing with the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy, or any other legendary figure. It usually helps if the person is an atheist for whatever reason. I know that anytime I try to make an argument with someone like poxpower or Bacchalian, they always mention Santa. It's something that is simply inevitable.

Response to: A mouse stops a rape. Posted December 26th, 2011 in General

It reminds me of how they knighted a penguin in Norway. I know we don't have things like knightings in the United States, but I'm sure there's some other honor we could give this mouse. Maybe have him be an official sherieff's deputy or something like that? I heard about this one cat that got to be a train station master or something. Of course, the two probably wouldn't work out that well in the open together. Have them work seperately.

I know these don't sound much like insults, but I don't know you, so I'm just trying to give out anything that might apply to you for whatever silly reason and stuff.

Response to: Obsessed with a song... Posted December 26th, 2011 in General

It doesn't happen to me often, but has happened. What I suggest is that you perhaps try to listen to another song. Then you will have two songs stuck in your head and there will be so much going on in your mind, you simply won't be able to keep track of the two songs. I hope you had a Merry Christmas as well and hopefully it wasn't a Christmas song because now that it's after Christmas, it's going to sound silly. Got any New Years songs?

I plan to get shoes with my Christmas money.

Response to: Fetuses? In my pepsi? Posted December 26th, 2011 in General

Well, it's probably as ethical as it is for abortions, which varies from person to person. I would personally say that it's up to the woman, and I guess it should probably be up to the woman if she wants her dead fetus to have its kidneys turned into food or whatever. It reminds me of this urban legend how about how some people in China or another Asian country were selling roast fetus. It reminds me of the Christopher Reeve "South Park" episode.
