If the feel for the creation of something drifts away, it' a part of life. Whether it be music, or writing or anything, if you just get bored with it, not much you can do.

The reason I don't have any submissions is because I hope to get reeeeeeeeeeealy good, and then submit some of my stuff. Then people will be like "OLY CRAP DIS GUY IS EPIC!", or at least I hope.

I used to spend hours a day in Cubase. Then I started to spend less and less time, and in the past week I've opened the program only twice. I just feel like I would rather be playing video games or doing something else.

But I don't want to completely lose interest in it, because I'm getting a lot better. The things I've made recently have been a huge step up from the stuff I was capable of just a month ago. I don't want to give up on it after 2 and 1/2 years.

My main question is what do the rest of you do when you start to get bored of making music?
