I never said you did bad. Out of all of the ones listed,you used a sprite worth drawing. Besides, I did say that everyone posted did a great job. Other's should have been up there. I didn't specify who SHOULDN'T be up there. And yes Idid mention specifically 3rd 4th and 5th places but that isn't to say that those already in those spots should not be there. I don't care that I didn' twin, I knew very well that I wouldn't, but after spending so much time on something, with a program I knew nothing about just to color it, I figured I'd enter it in anyway based on the fact that I spent literally an entire day on just coloring. And I see that a lot of people were not given an honorable mention, or a winner's spot, when they rightfully deserved it. There were lots of fantastic entries, that I believe followed the guidelines, and don't get me wrong, the ones listed on the first post of this thread were indeed great but some of them should not be there, and those in the "Honorable Mention" section should have at least 3rd 4th and 5th places.

The rules/guidelines were to take a low res sprite and make it into high def art but a lot of the entries that won, used sprites where everything was already pretty high def and you could clearly see what was what. My idea of a low res sprite, is that of a teenie character where you can't see half their body and have to create it on your own. Taking a sprite from KoF or any fighting game which have sprites that are high def enough as it is, and simply re-drawing it and have a winners spot, money and what not handed over to you isn't fair to those that worked hard in recreating an entire body for minuscule sprites.

I don't think a sprite like this guilty gear sprite here, is much of a challenge as opposed to this ff6 sprite.

Wow and the impatience continues. Relax already the winners will be announced soon enough I'm sure. Complaining about it and whining aren't going to make them come to a result any faster. Like some people have already stated,some contests take a while to decide winners; days or weeks or maybe even longer.

Yes, they are back from comic-con, but its a huge event and they have to relax a little bit after such an event. Plus, I know they're already going through the entries...

Its been over for about a week now guys o_o;;;

I don't recall anyone saying that only one specific person was allowed to post pictures. I've only seen people say "we've seen your Joker pic already, stop posting it".

And on the results to the contest, I'm sure they're just busy deciding. Deciding winners to a contestis never easy, there were alotof good entries in here.

I thought this thread was made to discuss the contest...not post actual entries or whatnot. Saying that only one person can post their artwork, and no one else can, when this is an open thread to all, isn't really fair... I understand though that theJoker has been posted at least 4 times already and we no longer need to see it re-posted. But be a little bit considerate of other people is all Im asking.
