I don't think the PM got through. :/
Many thanks! xD
Oh, they're not horrible, just hard to see. But they kinda look better resized, too.
Aw, I haven't tried a car in awhile..
Newest thing. Rather hard to see resized, though. (KoL art, for anyone who knows it!)
lmao
I know it doesn't match up exactly
I did the cheapass roll-the-paper-up-and-kind-of-mark-where -things-go strategy
Let's just say my face isn't that wonky.
Course, with my luck chances are you ARE Nat and I'm making an ass of myself. :3 Quick! Apotheosis! What was it? : D
Many thanks
Average, coupla hours. I don't have any exact estimates because I usually watch TV or something while I'm drawing, so the more I like the show, the longer it takes to draw. So if I'm watching a season of Venture Bros, 4 hours. Law & Order, 2 and a half.
Yeah, I have a morbid streak, lol.
But the Vangaar pics were commissioned - now they're hanging in some dude's apartment in the Bronx. xD
But yeah, total morbid streak.
Thanks!
An older monster pic:
Wow, now it's getting creepy. Good job D:
Now I'm trying to remember which ones aren't on the site.
Wow, thanks guys.
I know! Faces! Wtf! I can't tell you how many art classes I've taken that've had models, and really good teachers, and I just can't grasp drawing people. I'm alright with portraiture when I have someone to look at, but when I'm not working from life, wonkiness happens.
I usually do a really brief pencil sketch for the composition, and then just draw it in ballpoint. Color gets added in GIMP (or Corel Classic, if I'm stuck with my crappy home PC)
Skulls with hair, that was fun. Ditto Vimes & Nobby, DW's great.
Oh yeah. Damn lolli.
Last one for the mo.
God, those are bad photos. I should get Sonny to send me some better ones x3
Weird stuuuuuff
And this was the whole thing. Minus some smoke n' flames, I think.
Wow, doubt over art theft! I'm gonna take that as a compliment. Thanks, guys. :'D
Yes, it's mine (it's on my portfolio at my site. The poster one was of the same character (they were commissioned).
Unfortunately I only have a couple really shit photos of it.
Just because. I'm getting tired of my old forums, and now I'm hopping around.. Anyway! Art stuff : D Old AND new. Keeping in mind that most of these are based off of people's requests/books I'd die to illustrate/etc.
This guy never gets old. It's too bad I never got to take a decent picture of the poster-sized one..
Whoa, thanks Prince xD
Monster art's fun. I'd kinda like to do game concept art when I graduate, it'd be great.
This one's kinda old. Still like it, though :3
Huh. Amazing what Contrast & Sharpen can do. xD Now with 80% less pastel
Sweet stuff Laser. Blood + mood lighting = creepy
Fight with the Octothing! 30 minutes.

xD
Foot from the ass indeed
Thanks
Hey it's not that bad, it's expressive
Just resize what you want to post. Imageshack has an image resizer.
Zombie, awesome.
Lessee
Had to do this for a group project last month. Irish cream!
Thought you were being really enthusiastic for a second. xD Thanks!
There's no point in getting upset over this sort of thing.
Anyway, it depends on whether or not you're going for average realistic proportions or not. It looks fine right now, but I have to agree that it looks either cartoony or like a pretty short guy. As an art major I gotta say I've used the 7-heads rule a lot, but not everyone sticks to that. 5 is a really stocky person, 7+ is really leggy. And on average, with arms straight by the sides, the fingers end about halfway down the thigh, elbows at the waist. Which is helpful if you're going for realism, but if it's stylized then who the hell cares?
The biggest thing I'd correct is that the feet are at awkward angles. Hella hard to show in an outline, but unless he's got splayed feet, they should be facing more forward with the rest of him.
The stretched leg isn't long enough, and the foot on the bent one is facing forward even though the leg is going to the right, rather uncomfortable. c: Nice pose though, it's a tough one.
Damn, that is one angry emo.
I like using superhero-esque things for my DA ID. This being the latest.
