But, you're right, eminem does say shocking things a lot of the time because he likes the attention and he knows it boosts his record sales, however, that should not suggest that his first couple albums weren't good when juxtaposed with the rap industry.

Allow me to point out a couple things that would ruin the validity of your argument:

1. "I mean come on, people sit there and bitch about OMG BUSH und the WAR!!1!1111!" You are not adressing a specific category of people and I doubt you have met every single war protester on the face of God's green Earth.

2. "Has anyone ever considered that almost all the people protesting didn't bother protesting what is happening around the world" In case you have not noticed, the U.S. going to war is an issue that concerns the world, especially now as the U.S. is seen as a watchdog of sorts.

3. "mass murders, genocide, starvations" These things are protested all over the place by activists, I see it all the time on my college campus.

4. "Has it become a fad to hate Bush and ignore the "actual" atrocities?" You know what? You're right, that's why I stopped ignoring this topic.

Just as long as I can get Tacos for a dollar.

No-can-do, your American system of capitalism urges us to jack up the price to $2 and globalize our taco-production to foreign countries like Burma and China where we can pay next-to-nothing on them and collect huge sums of money after shipping them to the U.S. to redistribute them to you for 20X what they cost to make, even though the taco quality will be RUINED and cheap because they're not made fresh, and even though Americans lost their jobs because we moved the factory overseas...

Gotta love the examples set by Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan. (Can you tell I'm a bit pissed at them?)

Response to: Look at this, and consider the war Posted October 29th, 2004 in Politics

We know this war is wrong, and I pray that we realize that Bush was wrong for leading us into it. My point is... how can someone argue that saying "this was is wrong" would mean that the person who says that is not fit to lead a country? I think Bush deserves a nice kick in his jaw for saying such a close-minded thing. This war IS wrong, it's a deductive fact, we had no tangible evidence for it, Bush can't say "it isn't", this was was not meant to be, and Bush is as much at fault as the Iraqi insurgents for sending U.S. soldiers in because of his own personal agenda with Saddam.

If Bush had so much beef with Saddam, why didn't he just go and challenge him to a fight to the death? *insert corny old-school kung-fu movie music here.* Dun dun dun...

Well, if the Central and South American tribes are right (which, with everything they have predicted thus far has been a few years off), the world will end around 2009-2014. I look forward to it. However, if you want, you can just go find the Black Materia to summon Meteora and get this over with. I think you should if Bush "wins again"

Um... ok... and it's "Meteor." Maybe I should just give you a frontal lobodomy with the Masamune instead. Anyway, I'm not sure about the Central and South African tribes, but I do know that the Aztec calendar also predicts the world to end (the wheel to stop spinning) at about 2012 A.D. Stop trying to mock me, and Meteora is the title of a Linkin Park album, and also a place with a prominent mountain located in Greece, and also a stage I couldn't beat in the racing game Top Gear 2 (1992, SNES, bad memories of that stage).

So you're saying that we should vote for Kerry/Edwards, right?

Um... can someone backtrack through my recent posts in this thread and let me know where the fuck I've posted about such a thing? I do support Kerry & Edwards but I was talking about people in this forum when I was talking about rational thinkers. take Father Venom, Wraith, Spanishfli, or even ZeroAsALimit (just to name a few), they can think a lot straighter than people I meet on a day to day basis. I've encountered people who would vote for Bush just because he's anti-gay... I mean... what kind of voting decisions are those? That's all it takes to convince you? Even BeFell does a much better job at trying to defend Bush, and being anti-hippie than a lot other people I meet outside of this forum can.

So in conclusion... I have no clue what the hell you were getting at when I was talking about the whole human race, I can't fathom how you connected that with me asking you to vote for Kerry or Edwards but hey... whatever floats your boat.
