hmmmmmmm.

DUDE! Omg thank you for that pic skunk! That's exactly what I argue about when I bitch about the war in Iraq. Originally the U.S. supplied Iraq with weapons and funded them, we were their buds. Until Bush(senior) backstabbed Iraq in the early 90's by advising them to invade Kuwait so the U.S. could look like big heroes in front of the Saudis.

Response to: Iraq: was it better off alone? Posted October 31st, 2004 in Politics

It's good that we liberated it (at least to some extent), however, the reasons that Bush gave us were not valid or true. Therefore, that makes him a liar, or a confused person at best, misled by intelligence.

Ooh a mom joke. What are we 12 years old? And I didn't know that skunk was some sort of god. Well forgive me for not bowing.

It's a lot more tasteful than your sleazy "that's what she said" joke.

Congrats for being an exeption to the rule. I didn't say that all of you Kerry supporters watched Farenheit 9/11. Knee deep in reasons not to vote for Bush. So you're saying you're a Kerry supporter because you don't like Bush. As if there isn't dirt on Kerry. Do you know why he was discharged from the military? Me neither. Wanna know why we don't know? He hasn't signed form 180. He doesn't want you to know his records. I'm sure there's enough shit there to fill a dump truck.

Again, bad inductive argument, "you're sure there's enough shit"? that is a probability which justifies aan inductive argument made soley on that... probability, which means that you're not even certain, you're just assuming by what you've seen, and you're pointing the finger at me basically telling me the same thing when telling me that I don't "know why he was discharged from the military." Do you? If you want to get into military records let's get into Bush's, at least Kerry has one.

Pardon me but which argument are you talking about? The only non-factual information I presented in my reply was that 60% of Kerry supporters saw Farenheit 9/11 and are now hard set on voting Kerry because of it. I don't know the exact number, and I doubt there is one. That 60% reflects what I have seen and heard Kerry supporters do and say. I'd say about 60% of them reference Farenheit 9/11 when they justify their vote for Kerry.

That one, there *points* about people who have seen Farenheit 9/11.

If I'm not mistaken, we've captured Saddam Hussein and destroyed over 7000 tons of explosives since we've been there. Bush isn't the only one who thought we should go to war with Iraq. For example, Kerry voted for the war. Kerry also voted against funding the war. When asked why, he stated that it was a protest vote. So sending our soldiers to die without equipment is this man's way of protesting.

Whoa woa woa, yes Kerry voted for the war, I would have voted to it too if I had been told that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and we were expecting an iminent attack. But that wasn't the case. You and I both know it wasn't the case. Don't believe me? Go check up on your reliable news sources and search for Bush and the Administration admitting that there wasn't any imminent threat or weapons of mass destruction in the first place. I'd hardly compare 7000 tons of explosives with a 7 million megaton nuclear blast that Bush suggested Iraq had with weapons of mass destruction. If Bush was wrong too, then that's too bad, both him and Kerry could have just been victims of misleading intelligence.

2. Education: Underfunded, under the radar, under your nose, it's so important and have you taken notice that it seems like Bush doesn't care?
Speaking of factual information...let's see some sources pal.

Gladly, granted that you have access, check up on any academic journal, such as JSTOR for example. If that's not possible then backtrack to the debate and Kerry accusing Bush of underfunding the No Child Left Behind education policy.

3. This:
Ooh, you have a pic of Bush giving the finger. I have a pic of Kerry fumbling a football with a rediculous expression on his face. Big fuckin' deal. That video was on eBaums world and I've already seen it. The only problem is that who the hell cares? So he flipped a camera off. Clinton cheated on his wife and people still think he was a good president. If you were using that picture to strengthen your point I believe you have effectively failed.

It's very, very likely; especially in this upcoming age in which all popular resources will dissipate.

Imagine it... The war over the resources will only divide the U.S. more through political ideology, civil war would be highly probable, and then we've got these power-hungry politicians with nuclear weapons at their disposal.
Sitting at our computers in relaxation, this doesn't seem very real to us, but the fact is: if we don't something NOW, we're really doomed.
I honesty think that putting Kerry in office will be the first step in doing something.

I agree on the Kerry bit but... man... don't you guys think you're acting a little senile, screaming conspiracy everywhere? I could care less about the other affairs, I just want to live my life, screw how hungry the politicians get. I draw the line at the constitution. If they want to start altering shit in it drastically so things can go their way (which I've heard about) they should automatically be dropped out of office for trying to mess with our inalienable rights. That's life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Actually, I forgot to reply to that last time I posted in this thread. I made an old topic here I believe it was titled "Political Prisoner Pursues Presidency" yeah that's what it was. That thread was about Leonard Peltier, the native american who was framed and convicted for killing an FBI agent and sentenced to a long time in prison. Now he's running for the presidency with a female running alongside for Vice President. You can go to Yahoo! or Google and just type in Leonard Peltier, and you should get his story rather quickly. I'd vote for him but, my vote is with Kerry right now. I really wish they'd let the man out of prison though.

But trip out on that... A native as president.. from prison! With a woman as VP! I mean... triple-whammy right there, that would kick so much ass.

What's sad is your ability to read and comprehend. A few weeks of talk radio did for me what Farenheit 9/11, an hour-and-a-half long film, did for oh I'd say about 60% of the current Kerry supporters.

I'm a Kerry supporter, mind you I did not see Farenheit 9/11, I dug up facts in school and online. You don't believe me? See the ton of dirt a couple months of asking college professors and digging up articles online and checking academic journals turns out, and I guarantee you'll be knee-deep in shit.

Do you know how many people there are that support Kerry and don't have a good goddamned clue why? Every time I ask someone why they're going to vote Kerry I get "because we need a change" or "oh, Bush is evil"...rarely, and I use that term loosely, does anyone tell me a good, valid and reasonable thing that they think Kerry will accomplish.

You are presenting a horrible deductive argument based on what non-professional, non-factual sources. Therefore your premises are questionable, therefore rendering your entire argument on whether you are right or wrong, questionable.

Andguess what bro? if you want a good reason as to why Bush is horrible and why he hasn't done a SINGLE good thing either, get your camera because this is one of those priceless Kodak moments:

1. Iraq: No tangible reason for why to be there, yet Bush took us there. No weapons of mass destruction, no terrorist ties, no nothing.
