Yeah. Well, pretty much all sports with large followings are at least mildly homoerotic, but soccer's on the safer side, I guess. I mean, it's less gay than (American) football, tennis, golf, volleyball, and pro wrestling, but then again, everything and everyone from Bruce Willis to Liberace is less gay than pro wrestling.
I practice sports very ocassionally (mostly soccer and basketball), but I don't follow any, except when there's an important tournament, or the Olympics.

But, and even though this is off-topic, does "effeminate" necessarily translate as "gay"? It could mean anything from "pansies" to "post-op trannies" to "the French".
