Response to: Zionism Posted February 17th, 2004 in Politics

The Zion around here is a run-down power plant with a bunch of irradiated projects. Seems a lot better compared to the ideal itself.

(The bourgeoisie was pretty much the peasants who eked out a living in the mercantile and achieved wealth comparible to the nobles, and helped showcase the noble's elitist views for the laity. Hand in pocket. :/) It shouldn't matter to people that Scandinavia has the highest standards of living in the world, comparing graph to ratio of everything; it should matter about making yourself the best you can be, in which countries like America and Britian have been neglecting while Sweden and Finland have listened to their people's ideas and have given them what they've asked for.

Response to: Axe Deoderant; your veiws Posted February 17th, 2004 in General

It's the Hi-Karate of a new generation. I use the stuff when I need to since it's cheap and has a decent smell. The only beef I have with it is that in its aerosol form, it doesn't tend to work like deodorant.

Response to: Best Medieval Weapon... Posted February 17th, 2004 in General

The King of England banned the crossbow before the Pope did in the 15th century, (They loved those longbows.) but crossbows in the hands of many could massacre full legions of men. The guns of the day were powerful and a mighty weapon against a knight in full plate armor, but they took far longer to load though :/

Response to: Best Medieval Weapon... Posted February 17th, 2004 in General

The crossbow. Hands-down. When the pope steps in to completely ban the use of a weapon throughout the known world, you know it has to be deadly.

Response to: What is freedom? Posted February 17th, 2004 in Politics

There's really no such thing as freedom in most of the world. Of all the things on this earth, a good majority of them are owned by colossal conglomerates or families with billions behind their name. What freedoms do we really have? Opinions are censored by the mass-media, true suffering ignored for causes of far less importance, (say, the genocide in Sierra Leone overshadowed by the Academy Awards.) and world leaders making tactical faults of the greatest degree in their favor. (Sure looks like the world's interested in Caspian oil these days, aren't they?) No matter what the government, there's always going to corruption due to the fact that one in a hundred people is going to be a greedy bastard who wants it all.

onion skin shows the last frame (or frames) that were drawn; sort of like how a cartoonist compares one cel to another cel to make a fluid animation.
