When I said the "bullshit" you're trying to pass off as Japanese, I wasn't implying that you, Cryoma, were going to pass of bullshit as Japanese, but rather that the author of the Flash could pass off something. Didn't mean to sound like I was criticizing your Japanese.

Also, I wasn't saying that there's anything particularly wrong with you offering these services, but rather that there are just so few people who are reaching out to a Japanese audience. If someone was planning on making a game and thought it would be worth doing in Japanese too, then I would definitely say, GO TO YOU! But it's just that the likely hood of them stumbling upon this thread is slim to none.

You don't just get Flash 8 for free. What's wrong it with that would make you want to go back? If you tell us what you don't like, we might be able to help. Use it enough and you'll begin to get used to it. Anyways, you can't download or buy Flash 8 anymore from Adobe, unless you do it from Ebay.

Coding Structure

Just thought this might be kind of cool, but where did everyone learn their coding structure from and how does it look. When I mean structure, I don't mean how things are done necessarily, but how they look. Here's mine [as an example and response]:

You have to first rid yourself of all weapons, I think the button is space, so all you have left is a lead pipe. Then you smack someone and quickly hit F to grab them. You then hit F again to do one of two moves [either get their head on the pipe or knock it clean off]. Hope it helped.

Looks pretty cool and a lot like his style. Two really quick things I noticed are his shadow is at a bit of an odd angle. I'd squeeze it height-wise a bit more. Also, his feet a bit odd looking. I think the top of them is a bit too flat. Other than that, looks great.

Make it twelve hours. There's nothing artistic about 11 1/2. I'm assuming that you have to go somewhere at 7:30 or soon after so you want it done before that, but make it twelve. You can still get it to work after you've left, just check the time stamp of when you receive the email and tell them that you won't accept it after 8:00 PM.

Also, yeah, timed collabs should have warning threads, at least if they're not consistently at the same time on certain days.

Flash 9 = Flash CS3. Well, technically if you want the newest version, get CS4, although if you're a programmer, I've heard that CS3 is actually faster at opening and a little less glitchy. I'm not 100% sure whether that's true for everyone or not, so ask someone with both about it. CS3 and 4 both use AS3, so it's also equal in languages. On the other hand, CS4 has inverse kinematics [bones], more advanced tweening, some 3D, and a few new features.

Just check up with someone who has had both and see if there's anything in CS4 that bugs them, or if it's bugged like I heard.

That's Flash 8, CS3 is 9, CS4 is 10. I also think you can change the layout to be more like 8, but don't get 8 topic starter, I don't recommend starting behind, especially for actionscript.

Art looks amazing. I would love to code it if I had time, except that I'm about to start something for Pico Day. After that if you still don't have someone...maaaayyyybbbeee. Just a quick beware: Make sure you don't have keys in the 2 Player Mode that conflict with one another when too many are pressed, because then it's just whoever clicks it first will get it, the other becomes nullified and unpressable.
