instead of on the CAR like this

i want it like on the character like this 0

if (this.hitTest(_root.car._x ,_root.car._y , true,)

but that above doesnt seem to be working or have I got that right and doing something else wrong perhaps :S

but when i scroll down a page, i notice that green glow alot more then any of the other sigs. give it time, and you will notice it alot more then any other im sure.

like if it hits bottom of car it will do something differnet then if it hit top of car.

How would i figure out if its hitting above or below the registeration point on something. Say i have a person and wanna detect wether he hits above or below the middle of the car
