You don't actually lose points, what happens is that all of the people with your level pass you up, making the requirements for each level get higher. This can only happen with levels 11-30.

I'll probably rent it. It may look like the sickest game in the world, but you never know when you're going to blow $60. The only game for 360 I ever got without renting was Oblivion, but there is no point in renting that one becuase there is just too much to do.
