I'm not yet familiar at all with game programming, but I'm into art and would like to learn how to make games in Javascript, at least I think! :P

Well, I've recently been playing a game called Cookie Clicker at http://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/ an amazing game if you haven't yet tried it. And I saw that people were saying it was programmed by a French programmer in Javascript. So, I looked up how to make a game such as Cookie Clicker in javascript, and the results I got weren't very good. I want to make a game that is kind of the same idea of Cookie Clicker, you know... You start out with some stuff, then you build up by buying new things and it's just a minigame, not something with fantastic graphics and all 3D. I just mean a simple minigame like that.

So, my overall question. Is how would I start out to learn this? Anyone know of any websites or books, maybe even YouTube series (which I'd prefer).

I've been thinking of quite a few ideas for TV shows and movies lately (wanting to start a career into the screenwriting business). And although I've thought of quite a few different ideas for potentially great movies or television series, it just hasn't felt like I've hit the one I want to write about. So I thought you guys might be able to think of ideas... Any ideas for that matter. If you've got any idea at all. don't hesitate to write them down! I also definitely want to test my screenwriting skills. But, I will tell you what sort of TV series/movie I'm looking to write. I am looking to write a Drama, movie or television series. My main inspirations are Breaking Bad, Lie To Me, Lost & Person of Interest. So, please if you can think of any good idea, write it down. The more I have the better, so, if you have multiple ideas, feel free to write them all down! Even get your friends together to brainstorm some ideas if you'd like! Well, I'd like to say thank you in advance!

Dear all animators!

I am putting this topic up, looking for an advanced animator for an upcoming web series I will be creating. The animator will get a commission from the funds raised from the project. Although, keep in mind that the web series is still in the early stages... It is going to, most likely be a drama/thriller/adventure movie which circulates around the zombie apocalypse idea. I am still currently writing each episode, which will probably be around 5-10 minutes each. (Depending on how much work it takes for the length of each video).

I just finished watching a classic movie, "Groundhog Day". So it brought up the question...

If you had only one more day to live and could do anything in the world, what would you do?

Personally, I'd probably go spend all my money on things I've always wanted to do, like go see the Grand Canyon, go to Rio de Janeiro... Hard to do in 24 hours, but still ;)

So what would all of you do?
