i used to play RS alot back in my school days and i even payed for it. But then something happened... i realised how much time and money i had wasted. In 3 years of playing for on average 3 hrs a day i had in reality achieved nothing. I had spent over £100 on this game and wasted time i could have spent going out or studying for better grades. RS just takes to much effort to enjoy the benefits of prolonged play and the advantages within the game. A shorter easier version is a good idea for those not willing to put the time in playing the game normally.
Plus the normal game is full of little fags...

As musch as I loved the duke nukem time to kill and land of the babes on PS1, it was just a fucking joke at how long Duke Nukem Forever was in development. I mean 12 years? its ridiculous and unfortuneatley Duke is now just a relic past his time and releasing the game would have been a completely underated and unappreciated by todays gamers. If Microsoft were to buy 3D Realms the onky thing we might see is a prey 2. Releasing DN Forever would be a mistake.

PS. Prey is a game released for the Xbox 360 about aliens invading earth and killing people. and for some reason wanted to scar alot of people by showing the graphic murder of children. smooth...

I have to agree with you that religion as a set of rules and commands is only asking for conflict between differing views that leads to a society based on religious prejudices. You have to consider however that without belief in something after death, the core concept within religion (wether that be some form of heaven or reincarnation), some would feel they have no reason to exist. Religion as a belief that being a good person is the right thing to do is a good thing for society.

If you take basic christianity without going into specific branches as an example, the basic beliefs are that if you are a good person you will be rewarded with going to heaven, be a bad person and you go to hell. granted this is almost a form of bribery but it causes people to strive to be better.

Again if you look at Islam the basic message is the same, just the interpretation of some of the finer points in all religions (issues such as homosexuality, bigamy, violence etc...) cause conflict and offence.

Basicly if religion was simply based on trying to be good rather than making interperations of texts and teachings made thousands of uears ago th world would be better off.

well yeah but with 60 miilion people dead as a result we can call it significant but not really a success.

Grantred some of the most important inventions and technolgy were developed (the A Bomb) and it significantly shifted the balance in world power.

I find christianity the most irritating because some ,and i emphasise some , try to force it down our throats especially at schools.

Muslims worry me because they do not believe in free will and that allah has prdetermined their lives in his service.

Scientology though has to be the craziest ive ever heard of, that shit just makes no sense.
Im quite interesting finding out what this church of the subgenius is though lol.

Im an atheist but i respect others in their right to free worship just don't try and force it on me.

The lack of health service would cause everyone on welfare to struggle more and if you remove that as well then they would not be able to afford the means to live or keep themselves healthy.

Lets hear your thoughts on our new prime minister (if your a uk citizen) or if your another nationality lets hear your thoughts on the UK Government as a whole.

One thing first though no hate speeches please, be negative if you want though i certainly will be.

Alot of people have been bad mouthing Gordon Brown but this whole "conspiracy" to get him out is pretty weak. When you think about it, with all the economic troubles the UK is having and will have in the next few years, isn't the exchancellor of the exchequer a good choice for prime minister?
