Here is a quick sonnet. For those of you that do not know, a sonnet is a 14-line poem.

they stalks in the shadows
in the still of the night
they hunts in the meadows
while his prey waits for the light
they crawls and they creep
while the little prey sleep
then they pounce
they attack
until there is not even an ounce
of life in the motionless sack
of skin left on the ground
for their family to feast
then they turns around
ready to attack again like a beast

Every now and then I write some poems. So I guess I'll post them here. Comments and criticism will be appreciated.

the sky is torn
the world is broke
the women's scorn
is nothing but a joke

the children cry
people in tears
the sick die
they hide in fear

the world was nice
happiness was all you could see
but with a roll of the dice
it turned to misery

they knocked down walls
they attacked the meek
they shot you in the balls
in this world, a hero we seek

one who will save us
one who will protect us
one who will care for us
one who will save us

he did not come though
every town was haunted by a wraith
everyone overtaken by woe
all because we had no faith.

Lay down and close your eyes. What ever the first thing that pops into your head is, write it down and make a plot from it, then make a story.

Good poem. Nice job sticking to the rhyme scheme the whole time.

It's called a hyperbole. He could have used it to express how he felt when he saw that the Edit button was not created.

A good book that I've read is Ghost Rider by Neil Peart. It's the story of his ride from Canada down to Mexico city that he took after his wife and daughter died.

What really pisses me off is the way that Fox News suddenly changed from siding with the office while bush was president to becoming the people's voice now that we have a new Democratic leader. I'm all for supporting your side, but if your suppose to be giving people the news, you cannot be just one sided every time.
On another note, It fucking pisses me off that parents are trying to get shows like "Family Guy" off the air all the time because they think that their kids will become to influenced by it and do stupid things that they see the retarded main character or the drunken dog or the sex addicted friend do. If you don't want your kids to watch a show, block it on the T.V. there is no reason to take it to a much higher extreme.
Lastly, As most of you know, there is going to be an election on Tuesday to see who gets to fill Ted Kennedy's now vacant seat in the senate. What's pissing me of now is that ever fucking commercial seems to be Martha Coakly (D) bashing Scott Brown (R) or Scott Brown driving around in a truck. Also I've gotten 3 fucking calls today from Martha Coaky saying why I should vote for her. Every website I go on I see a vote for Scott Brown ad. FUCKING ENOUGH.
