Heck yeah!!

I would love to take part in this! Hopefully it's not too late!

It there any particular guidelines in terms of animation quality etc?
As in, should I go for a simplistic style or something else.

Pfft. I dunno.

How are you? Good!

I'm after an animator to collaborate with for a series of five minute web-shorts. Due to other commitments my current animator isn't able to do any more, which is a crying shame as he's very very good.

The videos will follow the same lines of my current stuff: http://youtu.be/ySWp8aRL8_g - as you can see, I'll be after about 4 or 5 clips, totaling a maximum of about one minute. It'd probably be best if we consider this to be a one-off collaboration, although it'd be lovely if we can get more under our belts. But let's not run before we can walk.

Obviously I won't expect anyone to work for free, but please bear in mind the costs of this will come out of my own pocket, so please don't quote outlandish prices. I'm not made of money.

If you could come back to me with quotes and ideas and timeframes and details of how awesome you are I'll probably love you long time.

Thanks!

Good day to you fine sir!

I am super interested in doing this one off collab with you! I think it would be a fantastic way to build up my portfolio as I'm only really starting off.

However! I do have a couple of examples of some rushed animations I did in my own time.

Here's how it's going to work. I've uploaded the recorded script here. Give it a listen.

Secondly, I want you to message me with a quote, citing a vague brief of how you're going to go about it, styles, the amount of time it'll take, how much you want to be paid etc. Doesn't need to be too specific; a general idea is good enough. I leave the creativity up to you!

Thirdly, feel free to ask me any questions!

Cheers,

Hey, how're you doing?

I can totally imagine how I can animated over this. It's really well recorded. Fair play.

I'm currently doing an animation course over the week, but I usually have good amount of free time on weekdays and the whole weekend for myself. When it came to doing work similar to this, I usually crunched thorough it, meaning I got it done in about 2-3 days (Counting work in the evening)

I'm hoping to animate it similarly to my past 'works' which you can see here

Obviously there's plenty of room to improve. But whether or not to add colour and more detailed animation is really a matter of preference for you to be honest.

As for payment. It really depends on what exactly you're looking for in terms of animation quality. It is absolutely possible for me to provide you with more complicated and detailed animation. However, this obviously would require a lot more labor and a bit more coin.

I'd love to here more from you, so that we can go into a bit more detail about this.
