Well im only 16, but yes i had heard the Ramones before Joeys Death...ive grown up with them...
But surely if more people opened up and talked about REAL punk bands, or any good band for that matter, then maybe teh posers might stand back and think "woah, these bands are good" then they would stop trying to get across their point of how much "avril doesnt suck"
Every single day theres a thread on the NG BBS about Music (i guess this one counts as well), Most of these threads end up on the subject of 'punk' bands.
The most recent one being 'avril doesnt suck'...
What really annoys me is many people consider Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Osbourne etc as punk. Now i know theres also a lot of people on teh BBS that know real Punk like Leftover Crack and The Ramones, but they dont seem to talk about it as much as saying other bands suck.
But the thing that pisses me off the most is how these 'pop' acts think they are punk themselves, by wearing Punk style clothes and having the stereotypical punk attitude just to be cool.
My point is...how could you consider 'pop' acts as punk? (hopefully this wont turn into a thread about how much Good Charlotte rule)

Theres a slight problem with Right Clicking on a game and selecting 'Play'.
When you do this on some Games it goes to the end of the Game. A Better way would probably be to Right click and Select 'Forward' until you get to the point you want...
You cant make a jpeg file with a transparent background...you can only do it if the file is a .GIF
...If its in Flash you need to go to Publish Options and set GIF Options to Transparency 100%
...If its Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro...Make sure the Background is transparent to start with then when you go to save the file...
I cant open PS at the moment coz my computer is fucked but im quite sure thats how u do it..

A similar thing happened near me. 2 Guys from my old school Stabbed another Student numerous times and threw him over a cliff to die...although he survived he was was left with his left leg paralyzed. Now the 2 Guys that attacked him got Sentenced and Found Guilty.
When they got realeased a couple of months ago they were given new Identities, New Houses, New Social Security Numbers and Everything....Even the guy they attacked isnt allowed to know what there new Identities Are!
It seems the 'System' is more in favour of Protecting the Attackers from being found, rather than Protecting the Victims from being Attacked again.
Am i the only person who thinks this topic was started as an attempt to make 'Godsmokesweed' good cool with all the other users who smoke pot?
