The game now had medals.

Luckily, if you've already met the criteria for certain medals, they instantly unlock the first time you exit the tower. I think the game also resends the medals every time you exit.

I wouldn't consider it hacking, but you don't need to do that for the SevenSeize game. You can just go to the instructions page, go through really fast, and then go back and wait five minutes. Also, you have to exit the instructions after five minutes to get the medal.

I still opened two tabs just in case, though.

Yes. I use this thread to update my page. And everyone uses it to come up with tips, clues and strategies to newly released games which in turn helps create walkthroughs and guides.

Ideally, that's what it's used for. I was talking about how 2 out of 3 posts in this thread are off-topic or completely unnecessary. They make this thread a pain to browse through. Couple that with the fact that so many people can't bother to read even the previous page, and things end up getting repeated over and over.

For example, I said on the previous page that the 10 missing points were most likely due to the "Memories" medal. On this page, 2 people ask about it (one right after the other) and someone has to restate what I already said.

It's really becoming a pain to check this thread every now and then and seeing so many off-topic posts.

Do we really even need this thread anymore? When was the last time someone asked for help in a medal game, and wasn't "answered" with a link to the walkthrough or Wylina's page? Seeing that there's page full of walkthroughs for most games, a page with a list of medal games, and another thread about medal game points, does this thread serve any purpose anymore? I don't come here to know who levelled up or changed their aura or editted their sig or any other bullshit that doesn't matter. I don't care that so-and-so got this medal for a game released three months ago or that someone with almost no points might be hacking.

I come here to see if there are any new medal games, and if so, for help with any medals I'm having trouble with. That's the fucking purpose of this thread.

Either post something on-topic or don't post.

I haven't found any reviews rated lower than "People think this is useless". I'd imagine that's the lowest rating, because any review that is "worse than useless" would cross over into the "abusive" territory and get deleted.

Most relevant answer I've found; seems pretty simple (link):

1. Go to Tools > Options > Privacy
2. There's several checkboxes for privacy settings, those are likely affecting your problem.
3. Make sure that, under Cookies, you have "Accept Cookies From Sites" checked.
4. Make sure Clear History When Firefox Closes is not checked.

That is likely to fix the problem if it is a privacy-settings issue.

Probably, eventually. I'm sure there are people who don't like a hacker being at the top of the list. They'll PM PsychoGoldfish quoting this guy's admission to hacking, and he'll get his medals deleted when Psycho gets around to it.

Personally, I don't really care too much about other people's medals. I see them as a challenge, and they add to replay value for flash games. They serve as a reminder that I've completed everything a game's author challenged the player to do, but I really only care about my own medals in that regard. I could honestly care less about what medals everyone else has.

Apparently, you could also delete Firefox and re-install it of those don't work (link). Sounds like a pain in the ass compared to just putting in a password every time you visit a website, though. I'd only do that if nothing else works.

The second possibility I found, particularly for a Windows 7 Firefox user, was to "right-click and 'troubleshoot compatibility' which allows you to select the option to always run firefox as an administrator." That worked for some guy. [REF]

I don't know if either of those will work, or what privacy settings you have (high privacy settings could be the problem). Those are just some possible solutions.

The list is mainly for Power of Three games and games that have been specifically picked for the frontpage spot by the staff. It is not a schedule of medal games (but all games on the schedule happen to have medals).

Actually, there are ducks. A flock of ducks sometimes appears in the same manner as one of the flying vehicles. You need to jump up and bite 15 of them for the medal.

The times people browse the forums isn't really the best indication of when people are voting on flash, because only a fraction of people who go visit Newgrounds have an account, and only a fraction of those people visit the forums. That being said, if you're going for a daily award for your work, I would recommend uploading after 5-6 p.m EDT. That's most people get out of work/class and visit Newgrounds. If your flash is good enough, it get a lot of good votes to put it in the top five for that day. Even if it isn't the best, it could avoid hitting the maximum amount of votes for award eligibility by midnight (EDT) and users will have the entire next day to vote on it.

I would also recommend against uploading anything on the same date that a submission by a popular author is being released, particularly Wednesdays.
