Yes, it is an 8 minute song but there are are many points of high and low energy that can easily be broken up into chapters.
Take 30 seconds to a minute of the of the song. Complete the animation for that. Then see if you want to continue from there. Even a minute is a lot of work to finish.
That's a good idea and not an uncommon one ;).
Only one person for over eight minutes was illusory to me from the beginning^^.

You two are absolutley right about the length.
For a piece of music it's not too long but for a flash animation it's a horrendous length in terms of animation work (even if you keep it simple)^^.
Since I want Newgrounds to remain a flash site where people make their flash animations for fun and not for the money I'm not going to "hire" a flash animator.
If any of you want to try making an animation for my song despite the length, you can go ahead :D!
Mess around, extend the story with your own ideas as long as the "main contend" stays the same.
And if you know other people who'd be interested you can ask them too.
But keep in mind the whole project should be done out of fun so if you want to try just take your time ;).

There were loads of submissions this time so there are more people who couldn't come into the top ten.
I think the judges did a really good work since it's a job where only ten people will like you..... XD.
And since quality is (or must) be one of the main criterions it was clear for me that I would never enter the top ten.
Nevertheless, good work everyone!
