Who cares what other people want to think of us? It's not like we want to be the most "Popular Kid in School", it should be what our people want, and no one from outside should dictate what we do so we will be "More Popular"

I think that it will become so mutated that some people will become zombies, but some will be immune, than the end of civilization will happen, and the immune people will have to fight o survive, and then, when we think all hope is lost, a scientist finds a cure, and humanity is saved. that is what I think will happen. :)

I think an argument based on what the founding fathers may or may not make is obsolete.

What about the first amendment? Maybe the Founding Fathers never thought about cults, so why not draw a line and start making cults illegal? Or, maybe the founding fathers never thought of making a criminal have a sex change as a cruel or unusual punishment? Maybe the founding fathers did think "Hey, how much you want to bet that we will probably have guns better than muskets a couple hundred years from now?"

But it just says arms. It doesn't specify.
Yes, it does; "firearms." That's what "arms" means in the context of the second amendment.

but, according to other people, we can interpret it, so how about we "interpret" it so that we can have nuclear weapons. Thats why I think we should just stop banning guns, and start banning banning guns

Response to: Assault Weapons and Gun Rights Posted April 26th, 2009 in Politics

We still do abide by the constitution, but we live in a different world now. I'm pretty sure the founding fathers didn't intend to allow nuclear arms when they wrote "right to bear arms". But it just says arms. It doesn't specify. We have to look at what the founding fathers meant, but keeping in mind we live in the 21st century, which is drastically different from 1776. I think everyone can agree on that.

What about the first amendment. Lets say we think that when the founding fathers thought of the freedom of religion, they didn't think of, lets say cults, so we can now ban them and make the followers of the cults go to jail, because we don't think the founding fathers thought about cults.

Response to: Assault Weapons and Gun Rights Posted April 26th, 2009 in Politics

Well think about it for a second; who was the Assault Weapons Ban aimed at? It wasn't a law that made sense or was aimed at deterring people from committing a gun crime, much less penalizing those who had illegal weapons, it was a law regarding what guns people could or could not legally buy.

I know, if a criminal wanted an assault rifle, a law wouldn't deter him much from obtaining one, but rather not allow the law abiding citizen to protect him and his family from the criminal with the illegal assault rifle.

Response to: Assault Weapons and Gun Rights Posted April 26th, 2009 in Politics

i right to bear arms... SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. So, why try to take something away. its like interpreting the first amendment about freedom of religion, then saying that athiesm is not a religion, so the government bans it or something? Wouldn't that raise an outrage?. So, why shouldn't the second amendment be any different if something about it is interpreted and banned?

Kind of, but a strict one, to a fault, so we rebelled, won independence, then overcame her in size, military, and economy

I dont hate England, infact I was born there, but live in the states, but What I find, especially in youtube, that everyone attacks other people for their nationality. It doesnt even have to be related, someone from canada yelled at me for spelling a word wrong, then said its all because your nation sucks, and then blasted me further for my age. I honestly dont know why people do stuff like that, its their own blind ignorance, and it makes the people from their country look worse

Do you have something to back that statement up or are you pulling it our of your ass?

I do, He wants to tax the people who work hard and make a lot of money, who already pay the majority of the taxes. He is labeling political extremists security threats, and is wanting to take away a right from us, a right that says it shall not be infringed, the second amendment. He is supporting Sponsoring a rascist program (Affirmative Action), and is ignoring things such as a possible missile launch from a country who hates us. That gvood enough reasons why he isnt doing anything worthwhile for the world?

Response to: America's Democratic Future. Posted April 22nd, 2009 in Politics

I believe you, look at Rome, Greece, pretty much any democracy, it destroys it self. I think we will be nearing an end, but not in the next day, but a century or so. Look at the current president, wanting to take our guns away, because the main reason the framers of the constitution wanted us to have guns is to use if to over throw the government if it gets too powerful, the ultimate plan to ensure our people have rights. It even says that the right shall not be infringed. He wants to Tax us, and labels the right extremists as security threats, it is the begining of the end.

Response to: Racism is hilarious Posted April 22nd, 2009 in Politics

I think it is because we live in a P.C. World, because a few decades back, the hippies, all drugged up want to stop "All the bad stuff, Man!" I find everyone rascist, mainly because in order to find something rascist, you must automatically put races out by themselves, not together and equally, like, according to the government, you should, even though they have something called Affirmative Action, which, guess what? Is Government sponsored racism.

you are partly correct. Some of the stuff they do is stupid, especially with obama in the hot seat. He isn't making any deals about a potential missile test from N. Korea, and he doesnt seem to care much about a iranian prime minister who denies the holocaust, and wants too wipe israel off the face of the earth. But, we still have a large army, and although because of the Pres. stupidity, we may not be the ones attacking first, but who ever challenges us is going to regret it.

Anyway, I think the U.S. Military is supreme, and not because of Nationalisim. Because We have about 1 in every 150 americans either on active duty or in the reserves. We have Hundreds of billions of dollars in budget, and we are working on a way to link all the soldiers to one another, along with tanks, artillery, and command, along with UAV's and small robots to look into buildings for threats, which, when completed, will have a great effect on our effectiveness, and less soldiers being injured or killed. We also have A huge-ass nuclear arsenal, and unlike the russians, we aren't "Missing" Half of it. Overall, if you think that your country can take on ours, just launch a couple missiles at us, and we'll launch back a couple thousands.

Response to: the big American lie Posted April 22nd, 2009 in Politics

dude, my dad literally lived in a ghetto, and went to a school so small, they had to have two different groups of students, ones for morning, and others for afternoon. His only stuffed animal was made of sawdust, and later his apartment burned down, but that didnt stop him. He got all A's in all his classes, and, literally eating other peoples food, got through college only to be drafted for Vietnam. He, going through college and all, was given a better job than infantry. He was stationed at Thailand, repairing Communication Equipment. Then, afterwards, He went back to become a doctor, and is now triple boarded in Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, and Pediatrics. The American Dream is not a lie, all who say it is are those who want an excuse for being at the bottom and not trying to get higher up.
