It's funny that even though you're probably trolling, I do play a tabletop RPG called Cyberpunk. It's a really relaxed RPG compared to D&D, set in the future, but in my opinion, a lot more fun.

I was going to recommend this as well, it's contained in a book called Haunted, all with rather unsettling stories by Chuck Palahniuk.

Definitely, definitely what you're looking for.

Yeah, yeah, call me a racist, you little cunt, but that doesn't change the fact that you've fucking contradicted the shit out of yourself in refusing to admit your own racist stereotypes.

Black women can go screw for all I'm concerned.

And another thing, now that I think of it, you completely ignored the fact that you're doing the exact same thing by making this thread. You hardly read what I had to say at all. At least admit that you're just as guilty as the "beauty ideal" you hate so much, and quit trying to put black women on a pedestal just because they've been sunk to the bottom.

Everything. They're unattractive.

Why the racism? I see it on TV shows and on online forums/message boards. I'm African-American and I find this somewhat offensive.

Play the race card, faggot.

Why do a lot of people want to act like Caucasian women are the "beau ideal?" That's not true. Women of color have much fuller features than a lot of white women.

Fuck you, they're ugly cunts. By making this thread, you've done the same thing that you propose others do. You compare women of different races, and do not mention that they should be equal, but put your own race above another.

Fuck off.

Go to college. It'll give you a backup plan and it'll buy you more time to get your music career off the ground. If you want to save money and have credentials that can earn you decent money when you graduate, take a skilled trade of some sort. Part of your training will be a paid apprenticeship. On top of that, it doesn't take the full four years that other college programs require.

Surprisingly, this was really good advice. Probably the best that I've gotten from anyone so far. Thanks man.

At 11/1/09 11:50 AM, Elfer wrote:
So what you waitin' for? A better life* is only moments away!

Well, I'm an 18 year old recent high school graduate. I decided to wait a little bit to go to college, but I'm not sure what I want to go for, and it's seeming like the only reason I want to go is so that I can delay real life for a little bit longer, and maybe find out what I want to do with my life.

However, the REAL thing I want to do with my life is a little far fetched. I've been a drummer for about 5 or 6 years now, and in the recent past, I've got a band going, been writing songs, and have started booking shows. We're looking to record a demo pretty soon. I've determined that this is what I want to do with my life, I want more than anything to be a musician.

The only thing is, I feel like I should have a backup in case this doesn't work out, but I can't see myself committing to anything else. I'm dedicated to music, but I don't want to go to school for it, because the only thing I want to do with it is write and perform, not get a music-related job. I work part time at a fast food restaurant, and since I've only got my car (just gas, insurance, and upkeep, it's all paid for) and my cell phone to pay for, I am able to keep most of the money I make, so I do pretty well. I still live at home.

My mom's told me that come January, if I haven't decided to go to college, then I have to find a full time job (a daunting task, as I'm finding it hard to find a secondary or replacement part time job), or my ass is out on the street.

I feel kind of stuck. What should I do?

If I don't have anywhere important to go, I'll stay in my clothes, cause I sleep in them. When I was in school I changed it every day, but now that I'm not, if I'm just going to work (cause I have a uniform) I'll keep the same clothes on, or just hanging around or whatever, I don't see the need.

Alright, alright, whoa, shut the fuck up here for a second.

You're breaking the rules of God. You're treating him as if he were a fallible human being and not the supreme omnipotent and (arguably) perfect ruler of the universe. Giving him moods, emotions, and treating him as if he could make mistakes because he's "new" to something is just ridiculous.

How about you get your facts checked before you go off blindly firing your "God" cannon? If you're gonna argue something at least make sure you're not just making shit up first.

Not saying it's not wrong of them to place such restrictions on their workers, because people should be able to express their beliefs, but if you look at the core matter, the guy was NOT fired for wearing the button.

He was fired for violating company policy, and when a simple "take it off" was rejected voluntarily by him, he was terminated. So, he didn't get canned for the button, which it states in their rulebook, cannot be worn, he got canned for disobeying his superiors.

It'd be the same thing as wearing a button that says "fuck you", being asked to take it off and saying "no."

I mean, one of two things is going on here- a) The guy is fucking crazy about artistic expression to the point where he will actually go to great lengths to prove his point, in which case, the whole article is true, or b) He's a genius and he's pulling a huge joke on people, and anyone willing to enter will find out that it's a big hoax, and the guy is doing it for a laugh.

Either of which would be extremely hilarious.
