Great. So I tried to delete it and resubmit it making very sure I used the correct tags and even went so far as to change the name of the photo to "robotday2010" but it said I had already downloaded that file. So I checked my submissions, and the picture wasn't there. There was an option that said "View deleted" Tried that and it said "Error-You do not have access to this page" So I went and tried to upload it again, and still "file already uploaded" or something to that effect. So now, as is, I am really screwed lol

This is weird....I can't get any tags to stay. I type them in, click finished or whatever, and when I go to check for the tags they are not there. What am I missing? Did you see the art? I tried putting spaces in but it said I couldn't "only letters, numbers, hyphens...blah blah blah"

I submitted a robot day art portal submission, and included "robotday2010" as a tag, but when I search the art portal for "robotday2010" it doesn't come up. Am I missing something? Will it be considered in the contest? The title is "I love you too" Thank you in advance.

At 5/27/10 10:49 PM, thenewbies wrote: Robot Day isn't a contest. It's just a random day to celebrate. There's a contest being held for RD submissions that qualify, but there's no requirement to join the contest to participate in RD.

For example, in order to be in the contest, you need to include only non-commercial resources. I have a music video with 50 Cent in it for RD. I can still submit it for Robot Day, but I won't be in the running for any prize money in the RD Contest.

Tom talks about he contest in one of his recent posts.

Sorry, but I am not sure that answers my question. Helpful though! I just post robot themed material
in it's respective portal to celebrate and if it's good enough it is "scouted" in a sense? If Tom aswers this in the post you speak of don't bother replying. Thank you!

Robot themed contest? Posted May 27th, 2010 in Where is / How to?

How many submissions may we submit per art form, ie: games, movies, artwork, music. Can I submit 4 or 5 art portal submissions for the contest? I know it's a way off, but I have been wanting to be in a contest for a while and want to get an early start on some groundbreaking(for me anyways) art for the contest.

Robot Contest Questions Urgent! Posted May 27th, 2010 in General

How many submissions can we make to each medium? Art in particular. I have a few ideas and don't know which one to pursue. URGENT!

So essentially in order to make more money, just put out more submissions with consistent quality? Of art, and flash? (flash using the program you have linked there to create an ad on that game.)

wait, do I benefit from revenue sharing just by submitting stuff while revenue sharing is activated on my account?(as long as people click on the ads on the same pages as my submissions right?) Is there a way to use such an E-mail account to enhance my ad earnings? Like by getting people to click on links on my website to newgrounds?

Web making tips Posted May 4th, 2010 in Where is / How to?

I just need to get on my feet here, can anybody offer me any tips or sites I can use to make my own site for free? I have heard they are pretty unreliable and in a website filled with website owners, I figured somebody has to have some tips. I am a stay at home dad at the moment so I have 1 thing in abundance, time. I don not however have money, crippling I know. I enjoy newgrounds a lot and have some great web ideas of my own I just need to know if there is a best "free-website-making" website or resource of some kind. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.

go to the pod that says "revenue sharing" click "enable revenue sharing" fill out the form. bam, you're good to go.

You won't get much of anything since the ads in your userpage are low yielding and the cut off for the site to send you a check is $50. You can bet on a handful of change per year.

for more information, you can read up on rev sharing in the news post announcing it. Check through the pages to see some of the answers the staff gave to users asking questions about it, too.

Thanks buddy! Sorry to be a pesky little nugget, but what are these ads, how do I get them, and how do I put them on my page? I am going to follow your link so if you really don't want to post again it will probably be cool. Thanks again!

I have two kids and for April fools day I called one of my best buddies and told him I had another kid on the way. He was like,"You better abort that shit right now or I'll come over there and punch her in the stomach myself!" Almost brings a tear to my eye that I have such great friends.

Advertising help Posted April 30th, 2010 in Where is / How to?

I have been visiting Newgrounds for many years but only recently signed up for an account. I am very sorry I didn't do so earlier. That said, I would like to participate in this "advertisement cut" opportunity and have no idea what, who, when, where, and sometimes y. ANY tips or advice or information explaining this to me like I am a 5yr old would help.
