Indeed it is - do you think there's any way you could work on that timeframe or is that simply not within your means?

Looking to commission artist Posted October 5th, 2013 in Art

Hey guys, excuse me if this is in the wrong place, never done this before (if this is in the wrong place please help me move it).

I'm currently working on a book called Life: The Unofficial Strategy Guide...

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1136126554/life-the-unofficial-strategy-guide

...and the book requires artwork. I had an artist lined up for the project who was a friend of mine but she has been increasingly difficult to contact and I'm closing on the deadline.

There are approximately 50 unique images I require (30 of which are simply variations on a template) and I need them reasonably quickly. I am giving my current artist until next weekend to respond (unless contacted sooner with a resignation) after which point I'm going to move on.

To give you some idea of the kind of images that I desire, I will list a few below. The book is a parody of a retro JRPG strategy guide, the likes of which often had a manga-esque art style, however anything simple and cartoonish will suffice.

In terms of money, obviously due to the timeframe I'm willing to be flexible; if you are interested then we will talk on Skype about payment before we go ahead with anything. Ideally if you could send me one of the images listed below as a sample of your art style I'll go from there. I'm not sure how Newgrounds is with embedding images so feel free to just link me up or pop it on FileSnack. If I decline your submission it's probably due to it not gelling with the current aesthetic - I'm no art critic so don't take anything I say personally!

Once we have agreed on cash etc. I'll want the images within two weeks (yes I know how fast that is), so naturally this will require someone who has a lot of time to dedicate to it, or has a fast hand.

Hopefully this covers everything! Feel free to message me back with any further queries.

Photorealistic Pencil Sketches Posted July 12th, 2013 in Art

So I convinced a friend of mine to upload some of her work - she's an incredible talent but nobody's ever given her any real feedback.

Figured I'd share a piece with you guys:

If you like it, please tell her what you think, she's unsure of herself at the moment, so she could do with some support/critique!

Ah thanks so mch! Yeah at the moment I'm just moving between different ideas on the channel, but I have a lot of stuff planned for this series - just have to hope it's well received.

Hope you enjoy the channel :)

Games Kitchen - new series Posted July 12th, 2013 in General

Started a brand new series about the lessons we can learn from great games, and how to apply those lessons in the future.

Basically at this point I'm looking for critical feedback more than anything - would love to know what people think of the series' direction so far :)

Need someone to mix me some dub Posted December 28th, 2011 in Audio

I've written a tiny trance sample and i want it written into the intro of a dubstep track for new years. It can be mixed into any existing dubstep or into something new but I'm just not great when it comes to dance music. I'm not asking for anything magic, just a quick turnover, and I figured where better to go than Newgrounds?
