Response to: HI-DEF ART CONTEST WINNERS Posted August 9th, 2007 in NG News

Yeah I would agree for people who bitch on not winning anything, yeah thats too much. But you have admit, not having at least an honorable mention (or a reply) kind of puts ya in a piss (or bitchy) mood. Especially with some drawings, don't get me wrong, they were really awesome, but didn't have much creativity as the others. Just like the HD drawings where T Hawk would have little logos on his belt and what not, Those additions weren't even added in with some of the entries I seen compared to people who added extra stuff to the entries. Again guys please, don't take it the wrong I'm not saying those drawings are bad or anything or they don't deserve to win, I'm just saying some of them could have been more creative, and I believed a lot of people tried to avoid working with high res sprites, and probably got bitchy when they seen a majority of the winners. Thats what I think.

Hey guys! Congrats to the winners, better luck next time for me and the rest of those who didn't win lol. The contest was fun and I look forward to the next. Hopefully Ill get a reply next time! lol

So, You guys think it be too much to ask for some criticism on my drawing (Bayou Billy Page 16)?
It would make my time worth wild!

Yeah, and I'm not bitching, but... I still like to see some of those winners animate there sprites... lol

It would be cool if you guys at newgrounds made a part 2 to this contest, where people have to animated there own HD sprites, that would be so interesting.

Yo JohanL that I am error is mad hilarious! LOL I love the look though.

The contest is looking good, I been laughing my ass off on this thread for a while too. Best fun I ever had! =^_^=

Im glad street fighter is actually being redone (Well the graphics at least...), other games like double dragon HD look like your seeing the game through a high res coke bottle filter, which it has to be, because why the hell double dragon would have slow down on and Xbox360?

Yeah! Bayou Billy! This game rocks! It was the only nintendo game to have street fighting, driving, and zapper levels, If ya don't like the difficulty try the mad city version (Jap). Here I match the colors of the art, He does have blue pants. Because of nintendo limited palettes of 4 colors each sprite (3 colors, plus a transparent color depending) he's brown, peach and black. If he ever was remade, I'll bet my right hand that they would add more colors to him to match his art. Hope you enjoy!

This drawing is awesome! I love the way you detail the gun. All it lacks is shades of colors, add some shades and you'll be have some serious competition here.

Dont worry about I manage to keep everything the same and got the file size down to 87KB, still huge for a preloader but its cool.

Pico day new preloader and contest Posted March 15th, 2007 in General

Hey guys! I hope everyone is having a great timeon newgrounds. I want to join the new pico day and Im the type of guy who like there file sizes small so 56K users dont have to suffer as much. The new preloader is totally awesome, but the file size is 110 kb. If I edit the preloader like cut some frames out or just leave one frame there. Will that break the any rules that I might not have found on touching the preloader and can it effect my chances in the contest?
