1) How do you think we should deal with these users? Should we delete them from the leaderboard?
Delete them from the leaderboard. It's not far to have the competition between a few people ruined because some just don't care.
2) Some of you were discussing the fact that Jerich0 has been banned from Xbox Live for modding his console. Do you think he, and other modders if we discover any, should be allowed to stay on the leaderboard?
No. Anyone's who gotten GamerScore legitimately should be legitimated rewarded. Anyone who's attained it unlegitimately, should not be legitimately rewarded.
3) If I'm going to be manually obtaining people's gamerscores every week then I want to make it as quick a process as possible. An idea I had to make it quicker (and to bring a little more order to this whole thing) is to set up a couple of gamertags (with names like NGLeaderboard1 & NGLeaderboard2) and anybody who wants to be included in the leaderboard has to have one of these gamertags on their friend's list.
Yea, make 'em. It'll help restrict it to the people who really wanna be on the leaderboards, and not just those joining for shits and giggles.
4) Are you happy with the minimum requirement of 500 posts to join? Would you like to see it removed, lowered or maybe even increased?
Nah, keep it. It makes sure everyone's committed, at least a little bit. Or, if we remove that, maybe go by sign-up date AND post count? Because I can imagine a lot of people would go making shit posts in General just to up their count.
5) If some or all of these things were to happen, particularly number 3, do you think it would be a good idea to lock this thread and start a new one with the rules firmly set out in the first post?
That'd be a much easier way to start. Like someone said before, lock this thread and restart the new one as a club, of sorts.
