I was talking to the North American Moose :P, and right now I am talking to North American Moose. Did you post your demos on my VA Club thread?
Sry for double post, but...it doesn't really matter what the Simpsons is like now. It's the longest running comedy on television, it's already earned a classic television spot that few other shows still on the air can claim (South Park comes very close).
The Simpsons used to be so great, but I feel that it has sort of declined. I don't drop everything to watch it anymore, like I do with other shows. I used to, though. But I think that the movie in 2007 can really revitalize it (I know I'm seeing it :P). Also, what I think is the funniest Simpsons moment ever is from the more recent episodes. The thing with that gym teacher and his sick game where he just hurls dodgeballs at little kids. "BOMBARDMENT!!! BOMBARDMENT!!! BOMBARDMENT!!!"
Hallo all! I just recently made a Purevolume page for my Jam Band/Pop-Punk/Experimental band, A Sweet Deal for Grandma (we're experimental because we don't play any instruments, we make instrument noises with our vocal chords :P). We still need a picture for our page, though. I was wondering if anyone who's bored would just wanna quickly make a funny little drawing, preferrably of a cartoonish Grandma with some Big Money $$$$$$. Hehe, thanks a bunch.
Hallo all! Dr. Worm here, and I'm currently starting up a new Drama/Sci-Fi series here on NG, entitled "Ghost Town"(I've already got an artist/animator) , about newlydeads in Purgatory! There's a whole lot of roles that I need voices for, so just post a demo of your voice of the character saying the sample lines.
To see a basic description of the series' premise/plot, click here: "Ghost Town" Description

I doubt it. Alien Hominid is a small, independent game that probably didn't make tons upon tons of money (although it is very very great :P), also, do you know how much freakin' money it costs to keep a website of this magnitude running? I bet he does quite well for himself though :P. Anyways, without NG...he'd focus more time on game development, develop more games, and start a 3rd party developer/publisher that would surpass EA as the number 1 publisher. He'd have dozens of beloved franchises, enough to rival Miyamoto, and he would be ridiculously wealthy.
Cool demo, Moose. I'm not completely sure which character best fits you, though (but my brain is nudging towards Nathan) can you please make demos with sample lines and the characters' voices and then post the links to those demos on my VA Club thread (I made a link to it on this page)

Well, my demo is at the voice acting club, I'm on the VA list. Also, my demo is around the top of this page, where I tell everyone how to join and everything. There is a link to it called "My Demo" so yea.
I'll audition for Kevin Scetz, Mick, General Orpheus Domes, and Nathan Johnson
Cool...by the way, if you nail both Kevin and Mick, that would be......good...for purposes I cannot yet explain :P
Also, did you post on my thread or a different one?
Wow, yalls be big Mortal Kombat fans....I personally am not a fan of that much misspelling (except Mario Kart :P) but, yeah, whatever, those games are alright. You're probably salivating over Mortal Kombat Armaggedon (or crying, seeing as I think it's the last one)...
I already posted a while ago, but I think soon a new person will probably be added onto everyone's lists. Altair (can't do the two dots thing over the second 'a') from Assassin's Creed. That game is gonna kick serious ass (PoP development team and publisher), plus he seems so cool/interesting. Here's the coolest part, though. In the E3 demo, whenever you die it goes into 1st Person and you see modern-looking people with modern equipment performing surgery on you at an operating table. Weeeeiiiiirrrdd.
Well...I suppose this would be funny to some people...but not for me!!! When I was a little kid, I was at a family friend's bar-mitzvah and, swear to god, a bowling pin fell out of the sky and hit me in the head.

Cool, just curious, though, which part(s)? Also, you can post a link to your demo on this thread or at the Voice Acting Club, I check both a lot.
I need some good, serious voicework for a Drama/Sci-Fi series....

Prop yer feet up on his coffee table, go into the kitchen and eat food that don't belong to ya. Open doors...you ain't got no business openin'. This is not your island. This is our island. I just wrote an entire huge-ass post for character voice descriptions and voice demo auditions on Voice Actor's Club...and there was an error....and the whole thing got deleted......
Hallo all. I know, I know...there's already the Voice Acting Club, but I need a large amount of actors for a series I am writing (I already have an artist/animator lined up) entitled "Ghost Town". Click there to see the basic premise of the series as well as descriptions of some of the main characters. There are many characters with many varying voices, so just post the kinds of voices you can do and I'll post what characters would be good for you, as well as maybe post a few sample lines so you can make a demo. Note: this is not a comedy, so funny voices and impressions probably won't be what I'm looking for.

Lol, the second I saw the thread name on the general section, I immediately clicked it so I could put that answer. :P But uh....you were 1 number off, it's 42. Close ;-P
Super Smash Bros. Melee=Best game ever. Too bad it's only that way in multiplayer and my friends barely play it anymore. Online Super Smash Bros. Brawl.........I just got sold the Wii. And once I get that Wii in my hands, it'll be nothing like I've ever felt before (THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!). But...uh....besides that, right now I'm mainly playing Oblivion (who isn't?), Hitman: Blood Money, and New Super Mario Bros. I was playing God of War for a while but now I'm stuck :(
Wow.....you know....that is the first time I have ever heard someone say that they like Ultimate Showdown. Ooh, do you like Adam Phillips too? Don't answer...it was rhetorical. Lol, yeah, Showdown is great....but still, my 3 favorites are The Matrix Has You (best Flash writing ever), Dad's Home, and......B (accidentally. For some reason, every time I look at it I cannot stop laughing....and it's not freakin' funny...that's the mark of accidental genius.)

Actually.....parapsychology is the SCIENTIFIC study of all yall's so called "powers"....but it still hasn't been confirmed as a real and respected field. So once again....I mildly roll my eyes :P
Hmmm....how can you be so sure that it isn't all coincidence? I definitely think some of these things can possible after millions of years of evolution (as the human mind is something we really don't understand much at this point, and we apparently only use 10 percent of it) but a lot of it can simply be coincidences. I sometimes feel like I lightly influence some things around me (e.g. quite often I think or read a word and the next second someone else says it or I hear it on TV...can easily be all coincidence) and 1 other thing that's sorta hard to explain: it's like God throws me a bone every once in a while and, like, tiny chain reactions of events happen that end up with me getting little things that I want (again...likely all coincidence) I'm not a complete skeptic, and yet still......
I think the worst thing we've done (and it started here in the U.S.A.) is to sort of get ourselves stuck in the crappy....creepily "1984"-like rut of a life...and then forcing that way of living on the rest of the world through outsourcing. And the entertainment thing someone said before...lol I don't mind it that much...but I think the real worst thing we've ever done is going to happen in the near future and it's right under our noses this whole time...in history, literature, etc. A huge downfall (World War III??? You tell us when you're ready Kim Jong) is almost at hand, and it's because we're distracted from real problems by "bread and circuses", which was the main governing strategy of the Roman Empire....right before it fell to mere barbarians. History really is doomed to repeat itself....

ooh I love blue *falls in* NOOO my son! Dont worry maam Im sure Dr. Bob is in there, he'll save your son.
what are those short things with glasses and large overbites, oh those are my noobs, I collect them from all around the world and they help me filter the portal, the only problem is sometimes they try to get their own stuff into the portal, and they post stupid stuff on the BBS. Daddy I want a noob NOW! how much do you want for one Tom? well, although they are very annoying, I cant sell them. C'mon I'll give you 500 for one. sorry. BUT I WANT ONE NOW *cries*
I smell a Flash movie in the making here. I couldn't help but grinning when I read this. I think the NG public would find this pretty funny. I can't animate...but seriously....you should do something with that idea :P
Oh...and I forgot to mention....SOLID SNAKE'S GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!! Hehe....he's realized who the real winners are, so he's offing himself on PS3 to be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii (since it's common knowledge that the Smash Bros. characters reside on Mt. Olympus, so Snake had to be dead to get there :P) That's gonna be the best game ever. Who knows, maybe it'll inspire me to buy some MGS games and uh.....Kid Icarus.....
I'm not getting a PS3 for a few obvious reasons:
1. It's $600. That is ridiculous for nothing more than a prettier PS2. (Name one new non-graphical feature besides the crappy Wii-tilt ripoff that at E3 was featured in a whopping ONE game)
2. Not one piece of software stands out to me at all (although I'm not an MGS fan so I guess most people would get worked up about that) besides Assassin's Creed, which is probably coming out on Xbox 360 anyways.
3. Grand Theft Auto, Sony's only real "exclusive" of the massive extent of things like Mario, Zelda, and Halo, now has a simultaneous Xbox 360 release....making the PS3 pointless for that series.
4. I already have an Xbox 360......and I'm a diehard Nintendo fan :P
5. Minus points for actually unveiling something at E3 (something like a PSone classics thing on PSP) and having nobody applaud.....way to go losers :P
LOST LOST LOST LOST LOST. lol...if you haven't seen it then buy the first season on DVD, download the second season on iTunes.....it's worth all that money and more. Actually....LOST is my favorite show that's on right now....the best show ever is Seinfeld. "I had a pony!!!!"
Good god.....sponsors? If you're gonna make games and movies...do it for fun or entertainment or art, not money....have you no soul? (Hippie moment in 3....2.....1.....) You're just feeding the corporations' war machine.....man.... :P

Oh.....wow. You should go to a game publisher....like right now. That's the best idea EVER!!! Oh no...wait....I lied. It's not. The same game we've been playing for 20 years with a really bad gimmick isn't fun in my book. Unless it was on the Wii.....but then just make it a tennis game without bad RPG shit in it....oh wait, they already have that. Nintendo's always 3 steps ahead of us....... :P
Lol...seriously....nobody will respect you as a writer if you can't spell right.....er.....i mean "wright". Also, if you wanna write scripts...you know......having a plot wouldn't be too horrible.
