Recently, a snowstorm came by. The snow has been piling up on everything, from the ground, to the cars, to the transformers. The snow has started freezing into ice, and the transformers began exploding under the weight. Some people have no power, some have everything but cable/phone/internet, some were untouched.
But me, I had no cable/phone/internet yesterday, but it got turned back on. So I'm lucky, but still others, like Meade County, have to seek shelter in commercial buildings such as Schools, Shelters, etc. Only good thing to expect out of this is that I have no school because of the power outages.
And its because most of the schools don't have power, so my district school board canceled school for today and tomorrow. It may even carry over into Next week. And this is why they say that Water is one of the deadliest forces of nature-it is stronger than that of man-made products.
