You made a sub par script reading your short summary here of a pretty bland story.
You are looking for an animator to animate you a 15 minutes video if this is to be done at a decent level of quality this would take the animator months and then I'm not taking into account of all the other factors such as voice acting / sounds. For which you also have nothing settled yet.

Then you want to monetize it and split 50/50 with the animator for lets say a week worth of mediocre work versus months of work and then you arent even thinking about the voice actors. Because hey.. If you intend to make money of it it would be rather devious to not pay those who lend their voice same for those who get you your background music/sound effects.

It's clear everyone's jumping for this occasion!
LETS DO IT!

Hey! Don't forget you get 3 months (and only 3 months) of ad money since the launch of the video. So considering OP doesn't already have a fan-base, that's got to be about 5 cents!

We have yet to fill 1 male voice actor position, and 2 female Voice actor positions. Out of the 35 males that have applied for roles, and were sent scripts, 33 responded with actual auditions. Out of the 18 females that said they would apply, and were sent audition scripts, only 1 responded back with an actual audition (and was amazing). It is because of the lack of female voice actors (or lack commitment their of), this project's future is looking bleak. :(

Aweh, that's no good. Hopefully someone comes around, maybe try asking those other females if they are still interested?

To start this team I will need:

Writers (I will also be a writer)
Artists (character designs, concept art etc.)
Animators
Music producers/composers

I would like to have two or three people for each position. If you are interested, please reply to this or send me a PM with some examples of your work!

I can animate, and also maybe do art such as concept or character design. But, depends on what you have written, there's not much of a pitch with this post haha. I'd definitely join if you have something already pre-planned so I could get started right away.. and are also a somewhat active user, would prefer not to wait around for weeks just to hear what I have to do or for a reply to an update. And also it'd be nice to know what type of animation you'd want, whether it's vector or frame-to-frame, can do both. I really don't have much to show portfolio-wise because of unfortunate memory-loss but I have animated before. Let me know!

Hey there. Looking at your take, you seem to have a grasp of the basic principles of animation. My only concern is your ability to animate in Adobe. I prefer to not use a character rig system. I like to do the majority of my animating frame by frame, accompanied by preset graphics and movie clips. I supplied a background image, as well as a character design, and scene information, would you be willing to do a quick animation? (colored) Say 7-10 secs? Polished of course.

All the example is frame by frame, I did copy some frames and slightly edit for time though, I won't for anything within this project. And yes, I can definitely do that! Have you already sent the stuff mentioned above? I have no messages atm.

HI there, Doowik. Although we already have our audio team setup and ready, you may submit content to become an animator on the project. Please send a link to a demoreel, or past animations for review. Thank you for your interest, and we hope to hear back from you.

Project Information

Estimated 18 minute episode length (20 minutes with opening and closing theme)

Character descriptions can be found on the first page of the main thread, sketches will only be released to members of the series, once they have officially joined.

Writers, voice acting team, sound team, and production/direction team have joined. (Including myself, who is also animating and doing concept art)

Animation/art style is anime, Steampunk genre.

My partner and I are not willing to change any of the base story, and will be handling all major concepts. We will be allowing people to make suggestions, which we will take into consideration.

Several different story lines happen simultaneously. The focal story is about a young girl named Patches, and her journey of knowledge on the road of science and invention. Secondary stories include - The social and economical reform of 2 previously warring nations, the life of a outcast bounty hunter, and the hijinks of a bandit group and their quest for power and riches. Other story lines, as well as the above, eventually tie into one another.

Hello there it's me again~ To be honest a lot of my 2D work was lost on my other computer, or is on paper, and I do not have a demo reel set up at the moment. But! I have animated a short simple take shot earlier this week to show you my understanding of animation. If you prefer to see more from me I am continuing work on some other animations that demonstrate my skill, but at the moment this is all I have. I will PM you the link to it. Let me know!

Hey there!

Can't help but notice not many animators have volunteered so far, I am new here (used to be here all the time back in the day) but made an account after viewing the community threads etc. I can animate both 2d or 3d if you're needing help in that department, but I'm not too sure, from the looks of it you're still dealing with audio and concept. I would love to help though if you're willing to have me. If you are, there are just a few details I need to know about:

>How long is this going to be exactly?
>What are the characters, and what do they look like?
>You say you're doing all the concept, so can I see that concept?
>What are you making this in?
>Is there a certain speed/quality you prefer this project to go?
>Who all is on board so far?
>What type of animation and art style will it be?
>What's the story? What type of story will it be?
>Are you willing to change anything in story etc?
>Do you still need any help with concepts?

But I guess you can PM, I really have nothing to prove myself with since I've pretty much just joined this site.. But just let me know! I wouldn't say I'm the most skilled, but I definitely can help out, but also I have a job and only around 1-5 hours to help with this a day. Also I've animated in Photoshop (traditionally), Toonboom, and Maya. I can mess around with Flash if that may be, but will need some pointers. I'd prefer to join this project just to improve myself, but also want to have fun with this! I'd say I have the most fun with girl characters, I think that would be the most enjoyable for me. Let me know the gameplan!
