and i have done all that with the content into a symbol, but it isn't working. i have played with it multiple times but it doesn't seem to work, and since i know very little AS (as in super basic buttons and stop frames); so does anyone know of any tutorials to make a scrollable content box that will work as a symbol AS2 if possible, thanks guys.

ok, so i was on the bus home on saturday night right, and i was sitting on the backest seat to the right, my mate was sitting right in the middle and a harmless aboriginal man with maori face tattoos was sitting furthest to the left.
halfway back the aboriginal guy with a green tshirt walks on and sits near me and my mates (there was like 9 of us spread out).
so this aboriginal guy with the green shirt starts talking about weed from india or some shit then recognises this aboriginal guy with the face tattoos and starts talking about how the face tats mothers sisters cousin badmouthed his mothers uncles sister or some shit and how the guy with the face tats killed someone.
anyway this kept going on till the guy with the green shirt stands up and starts yelling (i assume the coppers were called because they were at the next stop), so then the bus starts slowing down and the guy with the face tattoos gets up to get out off the bus and the green shirt poses like he's in a boxing match, with the fists up and all that, and then the fucker punches and tackles the bloke with the face tats and lands on my mate that was sitting next to me, there was some yelling and stuff and i managed to grab the green shirted guy by the arms and held them behind him, i told the guy with the face tattoos to back off, that this cunt was fucking high (i actually said that) and so he backed off (i could tell he was smarter than he looked) and so he backed off; by this stage the coppers were on board and were taking them off the bus, i tried (and failed) to say that it was the green shirt bloke that started it by saying "he doesn't know shit" which i was already saying to the face tat bloke.
i hoped that the green shirt fuckwit got taken to the gaol/jail cell holding thing at the station.
then one of the guys that went with us who reckons he is aboriginal when he is as white as me, he reckons he is RELATED to this dickhead in the green shirt (he was ranting about fucking 5 different families and he reckons that he is related to a family that is related to another family related to the green shirt guys family, and i just... i can't put it into words how fucking retarded he is, and how he thinks he is related to him, it's like saying i'm related to a family thats related to another family etc etc to make me related to YOU.
its so fucking stupid, and he thinks i'm just some stupid white boy, i live and have worked in an aboriginal town and it is positively the most digusting place in all of Australia, the people are scumfucks, they thieve, destroy and just are complete fails.
