It's so incredibly simple, yet so complicated.
When over analyzed it becomes a frustrating cycle of misinterpretations and failures. To the average cocky douchebag its a piece of cake. A sort of don't care attitude that somehow has the typically hot girls jumping on their cocks. The hottest girls always get with lame people. Cocky agressive and utterly vulgar douchbags who are "sweet" at heart.
It's funny really. For some people it just seems hopeless. While the jocks and their friends are off getting girls, they're frustrated at why it just never works out. Countless conversations that just end up with their "ass getting" friends getting tired of the constant "i dont know, i just can't flirt" mentality that they portray during such discussions.
It's just so dumb, i know. But at the same time it's so easy if you have the right mentality. A constant stream of throwing yourself out there mindset.
A lot of people try to get with that girl they're really good friends with that they think is really hot. Or that girl that they've always dreamed of getting with. Wrong. Obsession's and the whole building up process tends to never work out.
The right move is to randomly start talking to all those girls you've always seemed to notice. Those random girls that you've never really had the nerve or balls to tell your friends about, that always catch your eye.
And when i mean randomly, i mean completely obvious reaching out. Blatantly talking to them for no reason, but subtly enough that it's not awkward. If it's too obvious it's awkward, for example:
"Hey, whats your name?"
"Hey i've seen you around"
"Hey my name's"
You get the point.
Though what you're doing is basically the same thing, you have to disguise it enough that it can seem natural even though its obvious what you're doing. Usually it's smart to just first convieniently place yourself near them. The best method i've found is to just rip on someone or something going on in the room. for example
"(random teacher) is so (trait someone thinks only they notice)"
"that guys fucking wasted/retarded/a tool"
Following this and the probable conversation afterwards, there is something you must determine. Was she creeped out? Was she completely and blatantly uninterested? Or is there promise...
If one of the first 2, then you failed. Thats it. She will not get with you, end of story.
If the 3rd, don't overanalyze it, but you may have somewhat of a chance.
