I think you'll find that the triforce is comprised of power, courage and wisdom. A balance between the three that is really good.

I don't think those 3 attributes really shine through his character though. May be due to the fact that he is a silent protagonist?

LoZ:TP didn't really leave me satisfied, and SSB:Brawl is great if you've avoided the hype, but really, if you've the gamecube SSB:Melee, stick with that until you can get Brawl for $10 to KEEP.

Good example to show you're wrong is BRAID!

- Braid has an AWESOME story and awesome gameplay.
- Heavy rain had an awesome story and the gameplay suited, you really don't expect different mechanics for the story they were portraying do you? What did you want them to do? The controls felt good, the game play was immersive and thats all it needed to do.
- Portal, though this would be very debatable.
- Monkey Island (series)
- Psychonauts
- GUN, personally I loved the story and the gameplay was average.
- Legacy of Kain
- Fable (original!)
- Neverwinter Nights

Just my opinion, those games all had great gameplay backed up by a great story. Though BRAID tops the list (everything else is in no particular order).

Sony: Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid (though I personally hate it, I see its merits), Little Big Planet.

Every console has its merits, every console has good games in their own ways. I personally prefer the XBOX due to its game range, yet I love HEAVY RAIN (one of my favourite games) and SMGalaxy. Stop saying a console is better than another, they are all incomparable because each has merits and crap.

I dislike the Wii's range of games, but not the Wii, but thats like most consoles, its just that Wii gets a lot more shovel ware, I guess.

I love nintendo, and I play my N64 more than any other console still to this day, I buy a new game for it as often as possible and the xbox 360 (my personal most dominant new generation console) I'll buy games for once a month. I'm still a 'true' gamer, I think. I've got 30k Gamerscore, I own nearly every console from most generations and I play games constantly... That includes DS, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3.

All consoles are good in there own way. Ofcourse, this info is told ALL the time.

(Oh and I'm 15, so yeah, that's why I'm still playing nintendo heaps more than most people, I'm still catching up. Only got my hands on Pokemon Stadium 2 last week...)

I honestly hope this never happens, 3d doesn't make games or movies more immersive, because:

Red and Blue Glasses: Only one out of 100 objects ever 'fly out', and everything looks bad in red and blue.
Those Avatar Glasses: Woo, they weren't very effective, tbch. Plus, I don't want to wear glasses, period.
No Glasses Effect: This is generally pretty cool, if it is like the Iphone 3d effect I'm thinking of, but on wide screen tv's where multiple people want to play, I don't see how this could work well... Still, technology is advancing so fast, they'll find a way...

I wish they'd stop focusing on gimmicks and graphics and start focusing on gameplay and entertainment value.

One more note: any first person game this would make worse, third person could be better though.

- I have a Wii, Ps3, 360, PSP, DS (Lite), Gamecube, Ps2, Xbox, N64, PS1, Sega Mega Drive ETC ETC ETC.

Well, It'd still need to be debated through the OFLC, and who is to replace him may share his opinion which would be a shame. So nothing has changed yet, give it a few months, really...

I'll be surprised if we get any back-catalog games (like Postal 2) in stores now, the closest to R18 we'll get until a new one is developed will be an updated L4D2.

It's dead, its been dead for a fair while now as well. I own a PSP, DS and Iphone, out of the three, I play games on my Iphone more. Why? The games aren't superior, the games aren't amazing, the games are normally pretty bland... But fuck it, my common trip isn't long enough to pass a level in a full game, so I just play small, cheap Iphone games.

The PSP never really caught my attention either, the games aren't fun and it feels awkward to use. Sure, Ape Escape was on it, but with one analog stick... blergh... The whole idea of the PSPGo was stupid aswell, I only have 20gigs of bandwidth a month, I don't want to waste it on downloading games I can get on a UMD, heck, when you purchase a game off the internet you haven't really got ownership of the game either. Remove the PSP from the market, make a PSP2, from scratch...

Road Fighter is good for relaxing, it's like 2d Outrun
Red Baron grows on you (use playing suggestion mentioned earlier though)
Crystal Crashers was surprisingly fun, I bought it within two minutes.
Yar's Revenge is interesting...
I absolutely adore Jungler, it's like pacman and snake with guns.

That's really all so far. I hope they expand on the game selection weekly like promised, 10 minute demos of 7 games a week is enough for me alone with these games, won't have to buy any for awhile. :3
