Well shit, let me join the club here. I've been to four and all of those were incredibly boring or sketchy, leaving me skeptical of invites and encouraged to turn down whatever invites do come my way.
I guess those could count as the bad experiences then...

Goofy and random - although it really does let you see how what you do now can affect you if you ever become a celebrity of sorts.
Ah well, fun read. Thanks OP!
I blame the high concentration of bipolar and manic folks on here.
Nothing against you personally, but I think you're all a little mad in some form or another...

Anyways, I would be clueless! A pocketknife and some sort of clean drink would certainly help some, but food and shelter would be even better given the chance to obtain the two.

Mogwai always reminds me of a selection of Bibio's better material in some odd way. I don't know why exactly, but those guys are still a fantastic choice.

Not at all - even though it's obvious you're messing around.
Expiration dates are an approximation for beverages and consumable items at which point bacteria MAY be forming if stored properly. While it certainly is potentially safer to avoid going over that date, your body could probably build up a better resistance to bacterium of nearly all varieties if you exceed it slightly regularly.
I'm not advertising the consumption of expired goods, no. What I do recommend to you though is to not view it as such a solid line if you honestly currently do so. Your eyes, sense of smell, and intuition are much better tools than a rough as sandpaper estimate in the long run.
Shit, lets be verbose. <_<

Arrow keys here. Not really a gamer per say but I do do way too much FFR and Stepmania for my own good. :/
Amazing stuff, really. The top comment on that video was quite good for once.

Don't disregard others' good advice and triple post like that to bump this. That's just not cool.
This gives me an idea!! o_o
What if you could tweak the engine a little further so that the bubbles could follow the rhythmic elements of the song and make this a shooter of sorts? You'd certainly be giving Audiosurf a run for it's money if you could do so and could create a potentially revolutionary Flash game...
Be right back tough, berating myself for having no Flash skills whatsoever.
I'm just a little surprised nobody said that they like turtles yet.
Seems stupid memes are frowned upon here, which is cool.
School always takes priority in life. Sorry folks, but that's the way it is.
People think I'm arrogant because of my username.
Not really.
What I mean is that you need to truly prove to be a prolific asshole to deserve anything of the sort. Plenty of people fake arrogance for the sake of seeming funny but in reality turn out to be nice, logical folks once you get to meet them.

Of course this will likely be disregarded.

Dial 1 if talking about sex.
I admit to being a virgin myself. Partially out of shyness, partially out of not having the guts to be an asshole to women and treating them as objects to seduce them, but mostly out of fear of rejection in general. I suppose I'm pretty content though with myself right now - despite this setback.

Mmh-hmm, she's right about this. There's so much shipping going on in the fandom that this is literally a goldmine for cute pics.
I don't generally encourage a picture spam thread here on the BBS or on any forum, but Homestuck is honestly just good enough of a story to warrant it.

I'm just sticking a Maximizer on the master to "soften" the sound of clipping without sacrificing volume. Compression is being utilized four separate times on the drum track alone to give it that scratchy, bangin' sound you heard right now of what was originally just a chopped up Dn'B loop.
If it's improving the clarity but making things too sharp then you have to make a tradeoff between further tailoring of the sound to make it sit properly or to be content with "mud" . Then you might even balance it and say "Well, I'll just take away 3dB off everything below 100hz insead of 6 so I don't have to mess with my high-mids".
Renoise just plain sucks in terms of raising the volume. This shit is difficult to operate. :P
Tailoring the sound has actually helped a little here. Sidechaining is still going to be a giant pain in the ass...
Have you tried the kick-sidechained-to-a-gate-on-a-sub-bass -sine-tone trick? That's a huge part of some of the more modern bass-heavy electronic styles, I even know a few metal heads who do it.
Doesn't work in Renoise, sorry. That's also been tried and tested on my end and the official forums were cluuueeeeeleeeeeesssss. Experimentation is the way to go from here on.

We're not doing that. It's just a matter of cutting everything below 23Hz down and boosting the bass slightly but noticeably with normal EQ after that. A muddled, rattling bass if really bad, I know all about that already. Just look at this mix of mine for reference on that point.
Protip? Hipass everything until you can hear it affecting the sound negatively in the overall mix. Even the Kick can do with high-passing sometimes.
Tried and tested around with that. Even a highpass filter at 75 Hz on the drum track parts audibly screws up the mix and makes things sound far, far too sharp, digital, and compressed.

Hi there. Name's Don and I'm working with the OP on this particular track.
The girl just stated that kicks don't exclusively lie in one track within this song. The whole point of having tracks is intricacy and variation of sound, so managing to do this super-easy FL Studio method takes shitloads more work and often hours of programming. There is no real way to keep all the bass in one particular track without making things sound like just another generic NG dance track. It very much deducts from the humanizing charm possible in the atmosphere of a tracker.
What needs to be done is a creative form of sidechaining and/or utilization of ten-bar EQ and compression. Sounds intermingle, reducing the blocky sound of piano-roll workstations, but this spread out chaos and maddening amount of subtle FX touches is unbelievably difficult to flatten in terms of sound. Mixing often takes longer than composing itself.
Point it, Gain can't be held properly. There are audible grating clicks and pangs with the current kicks and drums in place, and no VST assists in reducing those. While the samples are generally fine if a little weak in terms of crunchiness unto themselves - aaaalllll this programming somehow causes the program to glitch a little and make normal compression a huge pain in the ass/ simply unbearable to listen to.
Cheers, and gooooood luck helping to find a proper sidechaining method.

Rapid-fire F5 clicking. Reconfigure your entire keyboard to function as the F5 key temporarily on Chrome, Firefox, or Opera and watch the views cum rolling on in.
Not that I'd go through the effort of changing every key just for that purpose, no...
"Giant. Fucking. Stain."
Ah, I changed my mind, have some really slow stuff:
Amon Tobin - Easy Muffin
Flexe - See You In London
Bonobo - Noctuary
The Flashbulb - Going Brown Again
Coltrane - I'm Old Fashioned
Squarepusher - Andrei
Those are good tracks, although is latter is a bit too straightforward and techno - 4/4 for my tastes.
I myself am just a fan of downtempo or really, really slow breakbeat. I really don't feel like pushing my tastes beyond that right now so I'll let other Newgrounders do that for you. :)
