Naw, Autechre is just boss. They remain on the very border of noise and music while being insanely innovative.
Don't like stuff like the OP posted, but Eyes of June and similarly melodic material - <3<3<3
Well, stop complaining about it and revive this shit if you really want it back. I'm sure at least one person on NG has the necessary means and spare time to accomplish the mammoth task of doing so. I would be more than happy to see this sort of thing revived and improved upon in the future - it may even get more musically minded people interested in Newgrounds (again?).
Since I wasn't actually here at the time and don't feel like spewing more shit I know absolutely nothing about, could someone please inform me on how this actually worked in the first place? Was it just a function in a flash game or was this actually integrated in to the Audio Portal main screen? 'Cause the latter would be pretty damn badass if you ask me, and recreating this in that webcoding-intensive matter would really ensure the survival of this function in the future. Redesign 2016 much? *shrug*
A small plastic cup of Bud Light.
It's why I don't drink.
Just popping in to request a triple review combo for two full but short songs and a slightly improved version of a previously requested concept before heading out on a three week vacation in the states.

This. This so, so much. Re-post of another duds suggestion, but amazingly sad nonetheless and worthy of going on this list.
My personal favorite sadness inducing tune would have to be the album ender of Soundtrack To A Vacant Life: The Flashbulb - When The Sky Ends, especially when put into context with the rest of the album.
But, er... why the hell did someone suggest Bittersweet Symphony? Its melancholy, not downright sad, much like the rest of the overall surprisingly good album.

Fucking OW. And that was made in 1994?
:NIN approves, I don't.
Nostalgia is a funny thing.
Strike that, this is better.
Getting pretty impatient here, but surfing the audio portal for unrealized potential is pretty fun and time-consuming.

Or just kicked out. If i were the manager I'd personally toss the dipshits out and hope they never come back. This is bullshit to the highest degreeeeeeeee.

IMHO, using cell phones or other communication devices is better than using an MP3 to block others out. At least your communicating period instead of living in your own little aurally-painted world. I bloody hate it when you have to call someones name over four times to get their attention due to them listening to music too loudly, absolutely hate it.
My parents get pissed at every update on sites they use frequently. Can't wait 'till they see this little gem of an update.

Pictures of me, pictures of you. NO thank you - at least not here.
Can't wait for redesign blablablurblebah... it's happening, you can't stop it, it's gonna be great, mon. So I suggest you come to terms with it.

Pretty sick of the ponies by now, so how about a counterponyment?
I was JUST about to make a thread regarding this unsettling development!
Damn you, crappy internet, damn you.
Anyways, pretty cool. Not a fan of the sidebar on the left during google searches, though.

How the hell are you a mod?! I'm honestly confused right now.
Please don't ban me?
Well, happy birthday, dudes and dudettes. May the last two (one?) day(s) of this month be eventful and joyous.
Peace
I have no internet friends. I don't know who you are, what you believe in, or what you do, so don't ever, ever expect me to treat anybody here as a friend - nice, sure, but not as a friend.
Now that - that was pretty epic. Not sure it deserves it's own thread, but still: that's one persistent bus driver.

That's the point of perma-bans. Normal bans are and will always will be a warning, not the strongest possible measure itself.
Know what?
The best advice I could possibly give you is to just read Norm Feuti's - a guy who worked in the business for over 20 years - book "Pretending You Care": No-nonsense advice that will probably help you much more than any NG'er out there IMHO.

Whoa, now that's either an achievement or proof that you always have some sort of computing device near you - not quite sure which. So.. not a single day missed in terms of sticking in the five vote minimum? No vacations/campouts/being torn away from the computer or such? Dayum.
