I feel very strongly about this subject as do many of you. I am NOT a recreational or experimental drug user. I have smoked an occasional joint and thats it. My biggest beef is with the alcohol laws and policy of the state first of all (I live in Utah, HElla gay liquor laws here) and federal problems with drugs.
I feel certain drugs like Meth, Cocaine, Heroin, should not be legal. These drugs are very destructive and addictive in nature, and there is a lot of proof in scientific studies of the dangers of these drugs.

I feel strongly that Weed, Ecstacy, Salvia, alcohol, nicotine and other less harmful drugs should be legal. Make it all legal at age 18 (the age of adulthood i guess, and if i can take a bullet in the deserts of Iraq i should be allowed to get fucked up when i want to....), and have government control of it. shit, sell it in quicky marts next to the cigs and beer. This would eliminate illegal drug dealing becase you can get it anywhere. I than beleive the government should tax it like cigs and alcohol, and start to generate profit from the legalizing of these substances.

The justice system would have to adjust, but underage drinking cases or possession cases would be cleared up and open space to tackle bigger more important shit. Rather than having cops write chicken ass tickets for 19 year olds getting drunk at college parties (been there done that) they could be out catching rapists and murderers.

Rather than wasting time and money putting away males and a few females between the ages of 18 and 34 for marijuana possession, we could send people on there way, make shit loads of money as a whole nation, while we prosecute said murderers and sex offenders. Just take amsterdam as an example. follow there model...

Not necessarily, if you look deep into history you see that whole area has been a hot bed for conflict for thousands of years, ever since people started claiming religions and holy lands etc. The jews lived in those areas and the palestinians were nomadic people. The babylonians captured jaruselem and half the known world and moved the jews within babylons walls. the jews came back after the babylonian empire fell and found the palestinian nomads in their lands and cities. they earned their cities back in blood and war (i dunno if there is a better way to decide who should live where if ya know what i mean). than the ottoman empire took over and the jews dispursed into europe and the surrounding areas, with many staying behind faceing prejudice from the muslim ottomans. Than after WWII and the holocaust the jews decided they were going to unite again and become a strong nation state, and went back to jaruselem so erradication of their people would never happen again. Hence the current conflict we read in the news everyday.

it would be almost economic suicide for either nation to go to war with each other. We would pull all our factories and stop production of us based products causing many things to happen.
to name a few
us prices and expenses and everything in general becomes much much more expensive, causing consumers to buy less, or eventually none of any kind of products. (look up marginal utility)
chinese people would be left jobless and without income, causing their economy to suffer so badly because no one is spenfing money cause they have none, they would most likely go into a recession or even depression...

I actually knew a few people who died in the towers. It was tough. That whole time was a very eye openeing experience for our nation as a whole. it may have taken 2000+ people for us to wake the fuck up, but i think in a way we did. most of us did atleast. to tell you the truth, the reason we have all the princess diana crap and the 9-11 memorials and programs, is to play off of peoples emotions and get tv and news ratings. its to make more money for fox news and cnn and msnbc all the other giant corporate news companies. I think these kinds of interviews go to show how stubborn and pointless the conflicts in the middle east are. Who knows when they will ever end, i dont personally think they will...

I agree with you tom. I hated JT so bad ever since i was in middle school and that shit ass excuse for a band Nsync was all the rage. The corporate manufactured bands didnt even write thier own music, correograph their own dances, and to me, that is bullshit. These punk bitch pussies were making mad bank, scoring hot woman, and not actually doing anything to earn it! So if its any help for people like me, at least lance bass never got to go to space and oh guess what... he is GAY! and all the other wieners in the boy band havent amounted to squat, except JT. Tom i have been viewing this site for almost twelve years now, since i was way to young to be viewing your site to tell you the truth, and this forum and your thoughts encouraged me to finally register to write back. Thank you for stepping out and giving out some props where props were due. People can always change, but that does not mean you cant still play snipe justin or kill Nsync!
