well considering the fact that no else seems to have anything to say, there no point of keeping it open by the looks of it.
You can remove the links if you want. Only one of them is actually on NG so it's not like I'm trying to promote myself.
I was asking if the astriks (*) ones were worth finishing but besides that this post was to see if anyone else had any WiP that are worth mentioning or what the earliest attempt at production is.
I have an Accounting mid-term tomorrow so of course I've been findings ways to put off studying. One of the things I've been doing is going through my projects folder in Fruity Loops.
Along this journey I realized that I have serious A.D.D.
I've got over 100 files in here, 90% of which are unfinished little riffs and clips. Some of them funny, some of them decent, some of them I'm definitely going to restart...
Anyways, I decided I might as well share a few of the more recent ones that I found (although some of the old ones are sooo bad it's actually funny). The titles are the actual names of the file (some of them are funny by themselves). I'm not saying that these are good, just the more recent ones (in the last 4 months-ish)
* - Potential, worth finishing?
And of note, I found my first ever finished production... Gotta love the vocal break at 1:40!!!! Surprisingly, a shit ton of listens, downloads and favorites... (1 in 10 download to listen ratio?)

Anyways, I made this thread not with the intention to show off my crappy Work In Process (accounting term for you) but to see how others on here are in terms of the amount of projects they have. I can't be the only one that plays around a lot... What are some of your notable WIP? Whats the earliest production you have stored?
It's fun, try it.

This is it! This is the most newgroundsy generic song on the planet!

If you have an education and are a "skilled worker" , I'd recommend it lol. Probably a lot of money for the rich.
Oh and it's been a really long time since I posted on here. I'll make this thread there. Sorry.
So I was just going through some political videos on Youtube and stumbled upon a video of a Obama being criticized for not "subscribing to American exceptionalism"...
First off? ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!?!?
American Exceptionalism? In what, exactly are you guys exceptional?
Quality Of Life?
- In the last "Economist Intelligence Unit's quality-of-life index" You're country ranked an Exceptional 13th.
- In the Quality Of Life Index for 2009 done by Internationalliving.com you guys ranked 3rd. Exceptionally behind France and Switzerland.
But in important categories like "Cost of living", "Environment" and "Health" you guys don't even rank in the Top 20! In "Economy" you're not top 5, and "Leisure and Culture" your not top 3? In fact your "Exceptional" country doesn't rank #1 in any category. You guys do however make up a lot of ground on potential #1 countries like Canada, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Norway, Sweden in the crucial "Climate" category...
- In Mercer's 2009 Quality of Living Survey, the exceptional United States didn't place a single city in the top 5... or top 10... or top 20... or top 25!!! In fact, the first American city on the rankings is Honolulu at 29. All the Top 5 cities in the "Americas" category came from Canada. That's just really exceptional.
Economy?
- Yes, the United States does have the highest GDP in the world according to the three major outlets on the subject (International Monetary Fund, World Bank, CIA World Factbook), however in GDP per capita (per person) you guys drop to an exceptional 6th, 4th and 8th place.
- You guys do rank #1 in External Debt! Yay! 95% of your "worlds highest" GDP is spoken for which isn't actually all that bad, most countires owe significantly more then there GDP, however countries like China (5%), Canada (59%), Italy (58%) Spain (79%) and dozens more owe ALOT less. Not really exceptional of you know is it...?
- You each individually owe a total of $42,343! Puts you at #14 worldwide behind several developed nations.
Seriously, outside of Military where you guys are #1, America is hardly "exceptional" in anyway. To be so arrogant is ridiculous. You guys wonder why almost everyone on the planet despises you?? I know a lot of americans are smarter then to think this but for someone to have the sheer cockyness to blast your leader for maybe not feeling the same way and perhaps even recognizing your country (like every country) has flaws that he could try to fix is just jaw droppingly stupid. Obviously its not just a small minority that feel this way as there were many videos on this subject.

Haha did anyone read the thread??
As a witness!
lol, awhile back I saw a kid get the crap kicked out of him by like 3 or four people and now, 3 months later, I have to go to court as a witness to testify in this case infront of a judge (not jury)
I really cant remember much except for the fact that there were 3 of 4 people kicking the crap out of the kid in a parking lot outside of staples. It feels like a complete waste of time that will only put me in danger of some kind of revenge act.
Anyone ever been a witness in a trail with a presiding judge (I'm guessing no jury)??
What do you think, I'm a dj hence the theme...
I'm not sure if this is the finish version or not...
Should it be?
The guy stole the car, cruised around showing it off, got his picture taken by forum member, they found his facebook, found his dress halarity ensued.
background story: a 1991 skyline got stolen and the owner posted a thread on local car forum beyond.ca
a member spotted the stolen car and thief and got a picture... most epic thread evar!!
There's a few of us that try. It is a really hard genre to produce though.
I think so...
Anyone ever check out the House section? It's got some of the most under-rated tracks on here. I also think it has the highest concentration of "club-ready" songs out any genre.
If people on this site were more open to the generally slower tempo'd and more repetitve and simple style of music it is I think it would dominate the Top 30 just like trance.
Take a listen and try telling me that the majority of the front page in the House section isn't atleast as professional sounding as the trance page.
I think it deserves more exposure.

you get a few songs on there - they get some reviews - not all of them good mind you - more like the reviews flashes get.. and then of course your listens go up - but your score goes to hell.
It's worse if you're higher up. I've had a few songs come out unscaved after being in the middle of the pack on the Top 30
I can't believe I haven't been featured once lol.
Any help advice would be appreciated!!

Yeah but dont you need to also link a carrier up to it don't you? And the carrier needs to be playing the whole time.
Hey, is there anyway to get the FL Vocoder effect with out altering the melody of the vocals?
At first I didn't think my submission had a chance but now that I listen to it, it totally goes with the robotic theme lol.
So I just had a random question. Anyone on here recoginze my name from my music?
A true good song is one that makes the top 25 twice in a row. Really tough thing to do though. Most of have always end up 4.45-4.50 after the week. Which is still nice but songs like Beginning Of Time and Runaway are just wow.
Also if you do get lucky and manage to make a top 25 song put your name in the title and then do it to all your songs that way if people like your stuff they'll be able to automatically see your submission when it's in the new sumbissions list or what not!
