Hey DevilDog, velocity isn't everything. The SS109 is too stable, and has an uncanny tendency to fly right through the target. Now, back in 'Nam, before the A1 was introduced, the 1:12 rifling made for an unstable projectile that would yaw on impact. Wen they put the 1:7 on it to accommodate the SS109 round, that was all fucked up. The round now has far less violent damage. Personally, I'd rather the 5.45mm "poison bullet".

Also, in addition to my last post, you don't hear the USMC bitching about the lack of power of the M16. That is because the 5.56 was designed to be fire from a 20-inch barrel, not a 14-inch one.

I need some help in fixing a Creative Inspire A200 speaker. It's shorting out, I think. When I turn it on, it powers up for a second and then dies. On the power cord, inside the speaker put capable of being pulled out, there is about 1/4" of exposed copper wire. I'm thinking that that's the problem. What do I do?
