Psp fat: I've had it 3 years, never broke. A bit heavy and annoying to carry around, but not to bad. The sound comes out of the bottom of the PSP so when you rest it on something it goes really quiet.
PSP Slim: I got this last year and i've had to exchange it 3 times due to it braking. It is so much lighter and the sound comes out of the top of the PSP.

I got both and i'd have to say doom 1. The music and story is awesome.
