This post just strikes me as amateur. If you want voice actors to be apart of your project you need to at least give more then just names and what they sound like. Provide your VA's or applicants (Spelling?) with lines please! Do take this advice to heart and good luck to you! Also, you'll have more luck finding VA's here

Sorry about that, I just posted this like a ton of times before with lines, and of course poeple just find a reason to complain

Here's lines for some samples of the lines. Just tell me if these are enough

Diggory:

What's happened to me?!

I'll have to find where I belong...alone

Neo:

The cure for all viruses. I'll find it one day

What is it? Can't you see I'm busy?

That all for a bit

Posted: 05/20/09 09:46 PM

Forum: Flash

*I realize that this is a double post, but someone asked me to post the orginal screen-play, so here a sample of half the story*

Scene One: A graveyard (imagine a cemetery on a dark night with a haunting mist) Night

Drogo is seen first feet only then rising up to his head. DROGO is a man in his 20's with a long handsome face with bluish-white eyes and silver (not old-looking) hair that goes down to his neck and spikes near the beginning of his head. His clothes are normal long black pants, a short-sleeve black shirt and a long-sleeved white jacket that is unzipped and open. On his shoulder is a small cute black cat. Drogo is solemn and grieved by something.

Drogo: Why?

The scene is then shifted to the graveyards. The grounds begin to rumble and several zombies begin to emerge from their graves. They are decaying a close to being skeletons. They begin to crawl up to their feet but this is not completely seen as the scene again shifts.

The scene goes to a slanted version of the graveyard with Drogo in the center with his back turned to the camera. The cat on his shoulder now begins to jump off to the left of the screen. The zombies from before are now getting up from the point in the beginning to upright position.

The scene then shifts to a face shoot of Drogo with his face positioned to the camera and rising form the middle center. Several zombies can be seen from the back of him and some as shadows in front of him. His eyes are closed and his hand shifts to his back which is now shown to be holding a sword handle.

The scene now has Drogo in full body but shadowed in red background with zombies in front of him. Drogo leans in and slashes all of them though this is vaguely seen.

The scene then returns to the previous view but with the zombies ahead of his falling to the ground. This scene then shifts to rotate as if Drogo's head turns. It shifts into a full body pose with Drogo bending down with his sword, revealed to be cross-shaped except with a point at the tip, pointing left putting him into a fighting stance. Zombies surround him. A then leaps towards the reader swinging his sword and giving out a battle cry.

Drogo: Why am I cursed with this fate?

Fade to black

Scene Two: A calm green woods.

A 15 year old Drogo can be seen with his brother holding wooden swords and in battle-stance positions. Younger Drogo has short black hair and green eyes and of course has a younger face and is shorter. DROGO"S BROTHER looks similar to older Drogo but with black hair without the spikes and a semi shorter face. Drogo's brother is on the left of the screen with his back to the reader with Drogo further away and to the right.

Caption - 5 years

Drogo: Do we have to do this bro?
Drogo's Brother: Of course, you want to strong like me right?

Drogo then rushes to his brother having his sword wave in the air. The scene then shifts to a picture Drogo's brother, standing still with his wooden sword in the center of his body. He then suddenly fades away as Drogo's wooden sword is seen cutting through him.

The scene then shifts to Seeing Drogo in the center leaning down for the after-effects of his swing, with his brother fading in behind him and turning as if in slow motion. We then go to Drogo's face starting looking back been looking back as this image and a wooden sword coming down to the lower left.

A scene of the sky is seen with a sound of a wooden sword pounding something making birds suddenly fly. The scene then shifts to Drogo sitting on a log with a bruise on the top of his head, looking down and depressed

Drogo: I couldn't beat him today.

The scene changes to Drogo being in the lower right with his back to the viewer with his brother up above in the right. His face is smiling with his eyes closed.

Drogo's Brother: You're getting stronger. You're just missing something.

The scene then focuses on Drogo's brother starting from his torso but going up to his head as Drogo speaks

Drogo (after-voice) - My brother was always my aspiration. I always wanted to be like him. However, for the past few years he had been acting strange.

The scene goes back to the sky as it darkens as Drogo speaks.

Drogo (after-voice) - that night I would learn why.

Scene Three: Night-time forest.

We see a Drogo coming from the right of the screen walking towards the left and a little closer to the viewer, moving his head back and forth. After his speech he stops in confusion and starts to look up

Drogo: Hey bro! Come on in! Dinner's ready!

We then see Drogo looking straight left with his face looking up. A drop of something falls on him. The scene then goes to him looking up so that his face takes most of the screen. His face is blank with fear. The drop keeps coming one by one. It's revealed to be blood.

We then see Drogo's Brother falling from the sky full view so that his face is pointing left (a side view). He is holding the cross-blade that Drogo had in the beginning.

The scene then shifts Drogo on a slanted version of the forest on the center right. His brother then goes from falling in the lower left to flipping and going into a pouncing stance with his left hand on the floor and his right hand carrying the blade. He then jumps to the lower left.

We can then see something fall to the ground perfectly straight. At the first glance it looks as if this is the grim reaper but the scythe in his right hand reveals a normal hand. Though this entire sequence, a sword looks like its coming from us seems charge at this figure making the figure come closer to us every instant. Drogo's brother is heard giving a battle cry.

The scenes then shifts, having Drogo's brother have a side view pointing to the left and the figure jumping away making him face us. Drogo's brother leans down in the after effects of the swing.

The figure then appears to the main focus on the right looking left in a semi-side view. The cloak falls off of the figure revealing a face. The face has hairy-wolf like sideburns, wild and spiky black-white streaking hair, teeth like fangs, and menacing piercing eyes. This character begins to swing around his scythe like a baton as he speaks. When he stops talking we runs to the left.

Figure: Sorry for all this, but it's time for you to die.

The figure lunges at Drogo's brother with his spinning scythe only to stop at the ground as the brother disappears and appears behind the figure

Brother: Why are you attacking me?

*That's it can't post more without really going over. Tell me if this is your cup of tea.*

*Oh yea, and please don't start another originality argument again, it gets things off topic from it's original purpose.*

It's already an audio production but I'll make the another post tomorrow with a sample of the script that made the production.

As for the whole artist having their own ideas, I already know that. I'm not fool enough to think that even 5 people will look at this with more than disgust. I just notice that most of the stuff that gets high ratings are either mature content, or parodies. If someone had an idea past piggy backing on someone else, I respect them. This is for anyone who either can't think of an orginal idea or just liked the idea and wantes to join in.

Well yesterday I finally had my audio production finished by the wonderful Eisayek. It'd called Drogo and you should check it out.

No here's the part where I ask for some help. I'm looking for a flash artist to help draw the series for me. I of course will be scripting the story, so don't think I won't be doing anything.

Please post to this thread a sample of your work if you want to be the artist for this project. I'm not really picky, but I don't wnat the production to be in stick figures either.

As for voice actors, stand by. I want to get an artist for the series first. Also, anyone in the project orginally would get first dibs on the roles shown in the audio. There will be other voices however, so I will need the help of various actors.

So please PM me with any comments you have please

The idea is that you tell me what kind of character you would like to do (such as an alien, a robot, a human etc.) and any other specifics you want (insanity, a king heart, etc), and I make a full blown character out of that idea.

You in turn, draw the character based on the description I give you (in any style you want). I audition the character as a team effort, and credit you. You in turn draw the scripts into comics or flash. If we win, you get the prizes.

Characters already on deviant art are off limits (aside from mine, though "Sam" is off limits till the exchange is over).

hopefully this answered all your questions.

* Someone told me to put this on the flash forum so blame him.

Not to sound like a broken record here, but I am looking for an artist for several projects. The reason I need an artist is as follows; I can't draw and don't have the time to put in years of practise that I should have had as a kid (I can't put in the time now because of work and school).

What do I need an artist for? Well there's

1. All the OCT (Original Character Tournement)'s on Deviant art (which if in flash formate could be posted to NG)

2. Create flash projects on Newgrounds

Now I did say partnership? Well, I am a writer of sorts (don't use this as an example please) and would thus write the scripts for everything.

What do I offer? Here's some of things you can get by partnering with me

1. Ideas for movies that can show off your artisic talents
2. 90% of any money we make on flashes
3. Permission to use any charcters we've partnered with as part of a drawing commision
4. Any choice of prizes won in the OCT I mentioned that you participated.
5. Choice of the genre you wish to work with for the flashes (you want horror? I'll write a horror script, etc. etc.)

Finally, both flash and non-flash artists are welcome for the first request (Obviously #2 requires flash skills)

Either post to this or PM me if you're interested, want to critize my little "help wanted" sign, or have any questions

One more thing. Any charcters that I am using already, or projects I am already collaborating with, are off limits until the artist doesn't want to work on the project anymore

Scripts will be finished in 2-7 days upon me accepting them (depending on what's being asked)

I personally don't like screaming jokes myself, but I still like everything else (usually)

As for the whole "Never contributed a single flash or audio thing" , neither has a high percentage of Newgrounds that do highly rate these. I have yet to contribute anything but I still rate a lot of stuff (high).

Critics that you see in mags and stuff usually have never contributed to any movie in anyway, but still people follow their advice. Why? It doesn't take a master of the trade to know a joke is funny or not.

This is how I rate a flash

- Was it good animation? (I'm not giving top score to a sprite movie sorry)

- Was it a good or funny story (No matter how good the art is I'm not giving it a five just cuz' it looks good, I want to be impressed or laugh).

- Was it orginal in some way (I'm fine with Parodies as long as they add something new to the table or are unique in some way)

I think everyone should have a system to voting and not just vote a five becuase it's done by a famous flash artist or it's already popular. And please leave intelligant comments if you're going to insult them.

Please take time to spell check your posts, as that will give you a fighting chance of getting noticed. To be brutally honest, you need to work on your grammar in the story, but this can come - I had too much to drink last night, so I really don't have the ability to go into detail at present, but we'll see how that pans out later, when I come back home.

Sorry about that, I was really, really tired when I posted so the spelling leaves to be desired. But yea grammer's the reason I really just script for peopl. I'm trying to work on it thus, I put the post's every week.

The story is the orginal story-line from the first game, so really could so find anything new in it? No not really and no support conversations becuase there were none in the first couple of games.

I enjoyed the personally but...

Argh! The only thing that really annoys me is the absense of book 2. They had both books in the snes version in Japan so why couldn't they put it in the DS version? I would have taken a dip in the graphics and the loss of all the hard modes to play it.

I just wish Nintendo would translate the games and put them on the Wiiware or something

In all seriousness, it's not needed. There would be no real point in creating a "sub-club" within a club for one aspect of one game.

Yea, I could if people would actually look at it really. This club was founded for all the games while the Wi-fi club would just focus on making fan-tornements and such.

Since it would most likely be banned by the mods, I guess if people are willing we could start some tornements here.

Like Docsprite said Jagen is the namesake of the group of characters with low growths designed for saving yoru other charcters. I usually end up killing him as the Prolouge (sorry for spelling) decoy. I know someone mentioned having powerful charcters that die because the enemy continues to die than attack with replacments. To avoid that, just remove (don't drop) your and put yourself just in range of the attack. Have the enemy be pulled in and than hit him with Magic arrows long-range than normal attacks.

Frankly, I like Bleach becuase, excpet for some "rules of manga" that make it like other manga, Bleach has a main character who has no real aspirations, is actually intelligant, and not a thug. The original rivel (Ichida) is much like Sasuke excpet he didn't go and betray everything for the sake of revenge. I could go on but you know.

As for Kingdom hearts, it is one of my favorite games. If you can combine disney and Final fantasy and make it THAT good, than i think you deserve a pat on the back .

Since this has a comparision to anime I decided not to post this is the video game threads.

Anyway, I was notcing something after playing Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories and reading Bleach afterwoods.

Here goes (don't hate me for this, it's just something I noticed)

Both Hollows and nobodies lack hearts and in some way are not supposed to exist. Their strongest are the closest to humans and their organizations both use number indicating their birth (Espada don't follow this rule but all the other arrancer do follow the number by birth rule).

Also several members are similar (this time I am comparing Espada, Aizen, Gin, and Tosen, to the organization)

You have:

The contemplating leader who has an agenda that is somewhat different than the others and belives all his minions are disposable (Xemnas and Aizen)

The mad scientist (Granz and Vexen)

The intelligent observer who is loyal and an emo (Ulquiorra and Zexion)

The member with the hidden agenda (Axel who betrays Organization 13 and Grimmjow who goes against the Espada to fight Ichigo)

The female member that is not femine in terms of personality (Halibel and Larxene)

Here are two where things get to be a strech

The lazy charcter that prefers not to fight but is strong when serious (Stark and Demyx)

The violent berserker (Saix and Nnoitra)

Not to mention that both groups capture a female protagonist for to lure the main character (Aizen has confirmed that Orihime was taken to lure Ichigo to the Las noches)

Just noticing some similairites and I aploigzing for spelling
