I agree. Although I found some bad pictures too.

There must have been something really exciting going on to the right.

Don't worry about that. If it was paid for with your bank card, then you'd need to worry. It's one of those problems that just goes away if you ignore it.

No people don't get tongue piercings to enhance sexual pleasure. I had mine done a few months back, taken it out since though. Only did it because I liked the look of it though, not for any other benefits, because there aren't any.

I find it incredibly amusing here how so many people think they know exactly how to handle a the world situation.

Trade sanctions on china? What a great idea. We can all laugh then can't we. I mean, it'd really help the situation.

And as for 'blowing the shit out of korea', how would that help? Have you noticed how there has only ever been one country in the entire world that ever had that happen to it, and then it never happened again? There's a very good reason for that.

And even more amusing is how the average 14 year old kid on NG seems to know what the entire arsenal of the USA is. I honestly don't understand why some of you people aren't in charge of world, you obviously know more than the people who are supposed to be doing it already.

Sans-serifs are great for body text, but not as eye catching as serifs. I'll agree with that you shouldn't embolden headers, though - especially not when using sans-serifs, which are bold in nature.

You've got a point, but whenever I'm writing I never find a the appearance of the text to be paramount. The important bit is what it says and I try to keep the focus on that by taking a no frills approach with everything else. Obviously organisation is important and if I was to create a work of art using words such as with album artwork I'd take the appearance of the font with more consideration.

I only ever use sans-seriff fonts. Anything with little flicks just looks outdated. So Verdana and Tahoma are the only fonts I ever really use. I also never underline, embolden italicise words to emphasise them such as in titles because it's also an outdated technique, I just make the font size a bit larger.

Yes "they" being the US Defence Secretary. This doesn't mean Korea at any point planned such an event. It's just a PRECAUTION against one of the vulnerable zones, just in case there is an attack which at the moment hasn't been planned.

As far as we know anyway.

That's because the most influential list is only based on the opinions of the people that make the list. And since influence is such a vague term it can mean anything, including influencing you to turn the radio off a lot.

Topic: is any one here a smoker?

Posted: 06/10/09 11:23 AM

Forum: General

Well the way I stopped was just by not having one. No nicotine patches, electronic cigs or whatever other thing they come out with. The only way you're going to stop smoking is through pure will power. If you haven't got that, then anything else you use isn't gonna help.

However, I hear it helps to transfer your addiction to something else. Like weed for example. Illegal, but healthier and more fun.

Well if you know who it is there's a couple of things you can do. FIrst off, beat him senseless. Secondly, call the police and inform on both his theft and drug habits.
Normally I disagree with interfering with that sort of thing but if somebody actually does something such as steal all of your shit they deserve anything you can get them with.

I've never liked charity because if I'm going to help people with anything, I don't see why it should be some random arsehole I've never met and lives halfway around the world. I'd feel a lot better about helping the random beggar in my local town money or food or whatever it is.

The injury itself wasn't weird but the actual event itself was kinda unlucky.

I'd gotten mighty drunk one night and attracted a large crowd of hostile onlookers. One of them threw a rock at me, at which precise moment I fell over. The rock hit me right in the eye about two seconds after I fell over.

Topic: Acoustic or Electric?

Posted: 06/08/09 08:15 AM

Forum: General

I have a Yamaha F310 as my main acoustic for whenever I'm out and about or just chilling at home and it's never let me down really. I have an electric as well which I use to practice more difficult pieces because it's generally easier to get a clear sound out of it due to it having lower action and lighter strings in general.

But really, I'd have to say acoustic all the way. I play fingerstyle mostly so I'm not really bothered about playing hard rock and metal that sounds better on electrics generally speaking.

You're actually saying you've seen all English culture has to offer at 16 then? Wow, that's impressive. And prepare for some major letdowns in the future if you ever actually go to Japan and you find that it doesn't live up to your ideals.

For instance, You will probably end up in a tiny flat with no room and maybe two rooms at best. Earthquakes are pretty common too as well as all other manners of shitty weather over there.
